I new inhere but been using Nokia from simple mobile phone to date N8,I love Nokia because it's easy to use and I thinkNokia knows better what we need

This update is only for the first generation S^3 devices. The second devices generation are at the sp2(aka symbian Donna) update already.

jessica, 09 Sep 2012hey, guys, gsmarena n8 review says it can not play files la... more:-?. I think they mean: the phone cannot save a file larger then 2gb. This is quite normal in all phones cause is due to the FAT32 format. You can format the mass memory in exFAT, in windows, so the camera can save files larger then 2 gb, but... i never tried so i don't know if the phone will recognize the exFAT format or not.

You can also search nokia n8 battery removal on google, is quite easy. The rest of the question i don't understand... maybe you refer to battery capacity??? 1200mah (two days with average usage)

20,000+ visitors a day !! my good old phone is still doing well , but I guess that too many people who have this phone are comparing it to the new Lumia lineup to decide whether they should upgrade or not , if you must upgrade to a Nokia then get the N9 ( or better yet , stick to your N8 cuz it rocks ) , don't go for WP cuz it sucks , but if it doesn't have to be a Nokia then I recommend HTC One S/X or you'd better wait for the new Sony lineup of Xperia devices cuz Sony makes the best phones IMO

Hi N8 mates let's share which manuel camera preset setting you are using... I'm using camera setting for outdoor photos as like below
1) Set as default: Yes
2) Based on scene mode: Automatic
3) Flash: Red eye
4) White Balance: sunny
5) Exposure: 0
6) Color tone: normal
7) Light Sensitivity:Automatic
8) Sharpness: Normal
9) Contrast:normal
for indoor photos I'm using default night portrait setting...

lily, 07 Sep 2012guys, sgs2 vs n8? Any suggestion? Which one should i buy?if you are gamers try this and your budget permits... get a package...
buy ipod touch 8gb (cos its cheaper than 32gb) for lots of free games, sosialing ,web browsing,music,etc (google apple.com)
get the N8 for calls, sms, games, CAMERA, and what ever in the ipod touch.
maybe a little over on your budget but you'll never regret it.
sgs2 is on gingerbread and plastic body. bothhardware and software considered outdated compared to sgs3.
both n8 and ipod touch are on aluminium body. i think you can afford both. if you got both gadgets then your world is enlighted..
but if you want a bigger screen go for the sgs2 alone
opps!!! we are in the room of N8 here.
