Ttt, 31 Aug 2012After a sucessful update to nokia belle last night, today i... moreHy there. if the advices under me don't work, then the problem is because of the installed softwares. Unfortunatly, if you want belle to work propely, you will need to format the phone. I would recomand to you to backup only the contacts, messages, notes, calendar notes and bookmarks, if you have them. Also, you maybe wanna to save everything from mass memory to pc. Then enter the settings/ phone/ phone management/ factory settings/ delete data and restore. This can take allot, so dont panic. You will see only nokia startup screen for some minutes. After all is done, format the mass memory, then reinstall the firmware. If you have memory card, take it out, before this and see if the phone is not freazing anymore, then the mem card is to blame so that iswhat needs to be formatted.

does nokia n8 support mortal combat, nfs or other hd games?(plz tell me more supported hd games)from where i can get?one more thing--i cannot play many mp4 video @720p resolution, why? rest of videos are not able to play in full screen mode, it shows but not full wide screen(3.5'')? my friend has wave 2 and she can play all of videos properly with full wide screen.. does there have any other video player app on ovi store?plz help! well other than the phone is superb!!!i'm a nokia lover & proud to have n8...thanks

press down the power button in seconds until you feel vibrate ..rest now press the power button again to boot up. i manage mine that way hope it would work the same to you. goodluck.

*1 GHz Processor & 1 GB RAM make it Smooter than N8 (but N8 with the Belle Refresh update is aslo smooth)
*Dolby Mobile sound - with Headphone
*1450 mAh N9 battery is bigger N8 1200mAh Battery (but Belle is so efficent in power management)
The Advantages of N8 over N9:
*12 MP and Xenon flash.
*Stereo FM radio with RDS and also FM transmitter (with FM Transmitter we can enjoy our music in our car's & Home Radio Stereo).
*32GB External Memory Card slot (to store more files).
*Java MIDP 2.1.
It's hard to choose between N9 and N8, because they both are equally good, but with diffrent OS. It's up to your preference. But owning both of them perhaps is better.

hi guys i updated my n8 to belle refresh yet i have some worries like i can not find from store my fave netquin antivirus. as you guys using belle can you pls tell me what's ur antivirus or optimizer? my memory fell to 76 and i fell like browsing so slow. i just need to optimize but i cannot fins the apps suited. thank you

hey just updated to nokia belle refresh it is even much better with the internal built browser,the browser is now smooth and fast well done nokia N8 4lyf......

Are you another person who thinks that having apps and Android system means everything?:P If you want an android phone, the only one i could trust in the market would be sony ericsson... but still, their gadgets are not so reliable...

I an a nokia fanatic for 5 yrs.! And all phone models are very nice. But today nokia is not reasonable for their price. Very xpensive.! Planning to buy new android phone. A top of d line of alcatel (sapphire 995 or lg optimus 4x) even i hate to leave nokia their price is very high compare to a very gud competitors! But dnt wori nokia i stil have my favorite unit frm u. And im keeping it for gud. Bye nokia. Hope your price wil be reasonable. Tnx very much! :*(

But by Fring ...Fring to Fring video call we can do...
I usually do video calls by Fring in my N8..

Abhi, 29 Aug 2012I am thinking to buy nokia N8. is it correct at that time? ... moreIf you buying this phone for the camera, then by all means go for it. I myself got it this year the camera is phenomenal... But having used Android galaxy s plus I was a but let down from the OS standpoint. Mine came loaded with Anna os and I've updated it to Belle Refresh a few days ago. You'll find all useful apps like Skype, watsapp and games like angry birds, etc for this phone... Great build quality and good features got mine for $340 which I think is a good deal.
