A super phone. Almost 2 years old but still packs one of the best cameras around. I sold my standalone digital camera because of it. Only gripe is the keyboard implementation -- performs one of the worsts in this area. Swype already improved on it tenfold, but it still needs a lot of work. Overall, I love the N8. I've had the N82, the N86, and this is a worthy and superior successor. I just hope for an update to fix the keyboard disappointment and it'll be a perfect phone.

guys help!
my n8 has had a blinking message icon forever nw. i dont have any unread messages and my inbox is not full either. what could be the problem and how do i remove the icon on top!

Whenever I refresh my music pl... moreBe careful where you store your music...Best to keep music in a folder located on the MicroSD card or 16GB built in memory. If you storing too muh on the C drive, the phoen will get very buggy. I install 3rd party apps to the 16GB main memory, as well. Keep free c drive as big as possible and above 50MB if at all possible.

one of d best phone i have.. i was using galaxy s2. was pissed with d phone.. just becz of d battery...! 8hrs thats it.. atlest n8 have ol d functions that s2 has. except d ram. thats nt a issue for me bt nokia is nokia. origmal n orignal belle.

Anyone please help me here.. Whenever I refresh my music player it took ages and my music library never stops refreshing.. it keeps on refreshing and never stops.. And whenever I access my music player it says General: System error.. pls help me tnx..

Hi All,
Have been using N8 for quite sometime.....i would say a perfect smartphone with good optimized Belle OS...capable of competing even today's smartphone...
No smartphone has combination of these features that this mobile has...
I Know Nokia team is not gonna give FP1 or Belle refresh in near time or even months to go for...
Decided to run custom rom as i do with android phones...
Amking's Rom FP1 aminking_v9_belle_fp1_n8_111.040.0904
Superb...to say...space on C:now 210MB free and cache is also moved to E:\ so its good...
Its running butter as smooth with FP1 optimizations

But actually I want to know that, ho... moreto remove fake apps,long press on apps icon which you want uninstal and you can see there ''remove'' in list. click remove. now your unwanted apps is uninstalled. try to long press in the file manager and you see there what n8 can do. try now and enjoy.

the reason my n8 would not charge anymore was because the battery discharged to its critical low voltage. good thing n8 uses the same batery with my n97 mini: BL-4D. opening the lower portion of n8 and removing the battery is quite easier than my first thought. i replaced the battery on my n8 and now i can use it again. i deactivated the power saving mode and unistalled the battery info widget. from now on i will no longer over-discharge the battery on my n8.

only 680mhz processor n 250 ram nt perfect 2 n8 on belle os
