I am a very satisfied N8 user for almost 2 years.
I have one small issue with the FM Radio though.
Whenever i receive a message from Whatsapp or any other messenger, the FM Radio app will just turn to mute and i need to turn it on again.
Just try my luck here to see if anyone of you know how to solve this issue?

nokia n8 is suppv i have using n8 approxmtly 4 manths and its great,its camera,sound,touch clibration,3g networks is briliant and i like it very much, nkia is ammazing....

"N8 is older. not compared to SGS2. if u want nokia with faster web browser, buy latest nokia smartphone, not N8... im N8-00 belle user. best for me and i still love my phone for years."
my reply goes wrong coz of slow internet connection.
im not hesitate. i said im n8-00 belle user, i means im currently n8 user.

AnonD-51869, 17 May 2012n8 cannot be updated to belle fp1 (till date)N8 can upgrade to belle fp1 if you hack your phone to removed certificate error & enable you to install unsigned softwares...

Had this phone for over a year and absolutely love it. I have no intention of upgrading as I can't see any other phone that comes close to it. It does everything I need and the camera is AMAZING. A recent holiday with videos of the evening entertainment come out superb on the 42" LCD TV via the built in HDMI to show family. MP3 player and FM transmitter are used daily in the car as is the email and internet for work and personal stuff.

Composite TV out stopped working on my N8 since the Anna update and still doesn't work with Belle either. I've tried what you suggested but the phone still goes into headset mode.
Doesn't really matter anyway because I only ever use the HDMI port.

Your N8 must be faulty because I've never experienced the problems you've described. The N8 is a pretty good mobile phone actually and is surprisingly powerful considering its slowish processor and low RAM count.
Maybe you should read the user guide to learn how to use it.

Guys, do you all know that N8 has 2 different kinds of TV Outs?
One is the HDMI that we all know, for HDTV's.
Second is the composite one for normal TVs, which most people fail to use due to incorrect instructions.
First Switch on the TV, set it to video mode, attach the cable to TV first. Then lastly, attach the N8 to the cable and TV out will start. Simple.
