sid, 29 Apr 2012N8 is the best phn ever used..love it bt i have to chrge N8... moreyour battery is faulty, have it replace in nokia care centers. Im using my n8 for browsing, voice call and video call over the wifi games music etc and it lasted 2days with a single chrge, note that my phone is a year and a half old.
Use fring for video call over the wifi

I use my N8 heavily for web browsing & gaming but i dont need to charge 3 times a day, there must be a problem in your unit, i charge it after two days of heavy use & thats why i prefer using N8 more than my S2 or c bvnf bv
As for video calling, if you want there is Skype or you could also use the built-in 3G videocalling facility via your carrier.

Haven't you checked transferring your photos to pc or laptop? If it turns out to be good then im sure you suffer from purple tint which spoilt your viewing on your phone
