i purchaged nokia n8 0n 7march 2012. its an excellent phone, but a bit complicated for me to use. so i like to request to send me an english mannual to use this phone easily.

Took my phone in to NCC for the Belle update here in SA because it's a swap phone and they replaced my screen for free, had a really bad crack. Awesome service

I have both N8 & 701. Believe me N8 is better than 701 even with cpu 680mhz vs 1Ghz. Amoled vs CBD Lcd. 12mp Af with xenon vs 8mp Edof with dual led. Anodized aluminium body vs plastic & stainless steel back cover.
Handling feels good with its design. plus you get HDMI out & easy acessibility for sim &memory card. For 701 you won't get that.
Software wise Nokia belle running smooth in N8. So don't worry even with 680mhz. You'll get more multimedia advantage with N8 especially with it's optic capability.

I have recorded some videos. They are in .mp4 format. I transferred these files in DVD. Now when I am trying to play by DVD player, these files are not being played. Saying not supported codecs. How can I convert these files to MPEG (.mpg) format. Any suggestions pls.

i have it for almost 3 months. works perfectly, still i don't like nokia belle software. the old versions were just fine. it would be great if the next nokia phones will be able to play not only 3gp, mp4, divx but even more extensions. otherwise, best phone i ever had, 12'cam is amazing, the music player is ok, wifi works verry fast, the games have great colours and the screen is quite scratch ressistant :)

if someone looking for great camera, go for N8 rather than going for N9 !!!

yesteqday i went 2 buy a smartphone. I was sugested 2 buy new lumia800. Bt i selectd my favourite n8. Nw i feel dat i cary a hd cam, a phöne nd a camera every time. WoW...ITS MUCH DEN I IMAGINED. I m vry hapy wid my new N8,

One question: I´m about 2 purchase myself a new cell, but wich one should I go for, the N8 or the N9? I like them both! I´m a standard user of phones, not looking for anything special - just a great phone. Be objective guys :) Thanks!
