Don't worry there was similar case in Nokia 5800 actually it has 434Mhz processor but when the released it downclocked to 400Mhz and at the end when the 5800 was dying the again overclocked it to 434Mhz it will also happen with N8 but at the end stage or if some developers are able to find the secret of overclocking in Belle FP1 the will try to implement in Nokia N8 and overclock it to its original 1ghz.

DO you know Nokia N8 has CPU---ARM11 1 GHz Samsung K5W4G2GACA - AL54 processor[3][4]. But Nokia has down-clocked it to 680Mhz processor due to the unavailability of the software in 2010 where they used only Symbian^3 OS. But now if they are able to over clock the new phones with Belle fp1 then why can't they do the Nokia N8 with a similar update to 1Ghz.

I can understand that the NEWER phones would be overclockable due to newer processors... Remember the first gen sym3 phones all possess the same arm11 architecture if i'm not mistaken and i think nokia as a company know that overclocking of the older processors may cause instabilities in phone function thus leading to even more unhappy customers...
If something ain't broke do not fix it...

We, the n8, c7, e7, x7, c6-01, owners, have been asking for a processor overclock for almost a year. When Nokia finally decides to overclock by updates, they choose to leave the aforementioned phones out of it. That was the last straw, Nokia. You lost another loyal fan, a fan who chose Symbian despite everyone asking him to go for android.

i bought n8 on 5march with belle pre installed & i downloaded file explorer it shows mass memory 14.2mb & 192mhz processor & batery also drain within 9-10 hours on using web angrybirds wat do plz any one give suggestion is der phone problem?????????

i want n8-01 with 1.4 ghz processor with 1 ghz ram with pure view technology and 12 megapixel.skype video calling plus twitter all the thing intigreted with phn.screen ofcourse 800*1260 and 4.3 inch
