Hey people i want to know how to get the good belle update. I'v had this version 111.030.0609 showin in my phone even before Christmas but I'v not updated yet. Am confused cos the original version came out in February but mine was showin since November last year, does it mean i have unofficial version or what? Plz somebody help wit how am gona get the good one.

I updated to Belle using Nokia Suite and my battery seems to fade quicker!!!

One thing that would be awesome is if nokia released a light version of belle service pack 1 specifically for the 1st gen phones after all the glitch fixing updates.

Hi all N8ians..
I update anna to belle on 8 feb..and then on 20 feb my n8 shut down and doesnt starts,only dotted screen apears, then i done hard reset..my all data lost..now i am on symbian belle not nokia belle,and my n8 auto reboot in a day or two..
If anyone has solution plz suggest..

1. Their website is always incorrect? Meaning what exactly? --> Nokia AU posted that the current os for N8 is belle which in au is not, vietnam posted updates which did not reflect properly, read forums in GSMA, even thier Belle rollout updater in nokia eur froze for 2 weeks posting only for feb 22
2. Firmware/OS
always has problems? Show us a firmware that is without fault or glitches during its initial release. Then show us a firmware as secure and dependable as SYMBIAN. We don't get our personal information leeched -fandroids do -, and we do not need to a pay a monthly subscription for BASIC FUNCTIONS on our phones to work -RIMers do-. --> evrything has glitches but symbian has a lot more, lets be honest, people wouldnt be complaining here if there was little glitch.
3. They just can't keep up, even
with the merger, its not worth it. They don't have to keep up... NOKIA walked away with an AWARD for a SYMBIAN PHONE from 2012 MWC. Lumia RANGE CURRENTLY also getting more and more wanted by customers. ---->come on dude think, what was that award for? ...
4. This n8 will YOUR last nokia phone. Why are you using it still? Sell it and get another phone. Android, Iphone or BB, the choice is yours. - true that.
5. Sure nokia were the best, but i guess it's time for everyone to realize that theyre not worthit
anymore... They will get ontop again. With "Everyone" i guess you mean yourself and every fandroid out there? - on top again? now you need to show me the facts... and again i'm no fandroid, I just don't like nokia anymore.

people,nokia remain unbeatable dont be deceive by sayings of people for n8 users if u upgrade belle through nokia suite u may exps ovistore problem remember all was fixed in this version 111.030.0609 b/c nokia suite belle was release b4 releasing v111.030.0609 so go for it use phoenix to flash it enjoy nokia belle

Nokia deserves all the credits for achieving so much in N8 with so little; that's high effectiveness!! Some people are easily sold by American propaganda!! Imagine the huge outcry & condemnation Nokia would have faced if they had the loss of signal iphone 4 had, or the various hitches Android had gone thru!!! Yet, Nokia achieved all with minimal errors except hacking- generated ones!!! Kudos to Nokia!!! Hats off to Nokia!!! The crown will soon return to her rightful owner!!!

for complaint after upgrade hangin auto reboot and maps problem after upgrade check ur version *#0000# release must be nokia belle not syb belle software version must be 111.030.0609 software version date 26-11-2011 custom version date 25-12.2011 wihout this problem will occur or use google to search version 111.030.0609 this firmware has no problem it run faster than other phones with 1.2,1.4GH
