N8, 19 Feb 2012is there anyway to run ucweb on my n8?

AnonD-42893, 19 Feb 2012Thanx for rply, so what should I purchase, is n8 much slowe... moreactually it really depends on you on what you want to take advantage of... if you want a pro like cam and a smart phone go for n8, but you might not get the carla update, otherwise go for 701 if your not really into taking good quality pictures (but 701 cam is good enough for ordinary user)... with regards to speed of 701 vs n8 it isn't that much, so i think its not a big deal... for me i like n8 more, but that is because i like taking pictures... still if you'll just wait a little, you can take all the advantages of n8 and 701 with some extra when 808 is released...

N8, 19 Feb 2012is there anyway to run ucweb on my n8? please help me ... moreturn your WIFI switch on then open ucweb browser. You don't have to connect WIFI connection. Then it will work fine

701 over n8:
hardware (1ghz processor and 512mb ram), meaning it is faster than n8

Any other way of downgrading will brick your N8... But you are first person I have encountered not loving belle... I'm using Delight Belle v4.0 and believe me or not my friend with a galaxy S2 is a bit jealous how am i getting such a beautiful interface n smoothness at such a price coz Delight Belle has translucent widgets and Jing Hao transitions v3...

My n8 is not working porperly in 2g network area after i updated into belle.

To start off with, i feel that my N8 has a heart & it deserves to be loved even though i know my GS2 is far better in gaming & browsing, i still love my N8.
its a wonderful feeling just holding it, the camera unit at back rests on edge of my palm & the menu button placed comfortably to the left which means no effort to press the menu button with my right thumb. That provides perfect grip unlike the 'not so useful' grip behind my GS2.[S2 gets better holding grip after putting a bumper case on it]
The design, i just love the way they have protruded the camera unit, the soft volume rocker & shutter key, the easily accessible MicroSD/SIM slot, all this forms the beautiful N8. Yeah i know the body isnt as slim as my GS2 & the Headphone jack is misplaced on N8.
Most of all Nokia themselves love the N8 alot, look at the love its getting from Nokia:
1. They chose it to be the first device to run Symbian^3 back in 2010.
2. They released a Pink edition N8 & updated it to Symbian Anna in 2011[not only that, it started shipping with Anna pre-installed]
3. They released a brown edition & updated it to Symbian Belle plus started shipping with Belle pre-installed.
I know Symbian is not as smart as the Gingerbread (2.3.5) running on my GS2, but i love my N8.
I dont know what magic did the Nokia engineers did back then that the N8 took my heart away. And the little things of life are more clear with HD camera stills & video recording. N8 12MP vs. GS2 8MP.
I dont like the design of the N8's successor, i want it to be abstract & standing out from the crowd like N8 does. You can easily recognize N8 in a persons hand if seen from any angle. The S2 could be mistaken for S1 or any other Galaxy if seen from front.
For those who dont like N8; I wasnt born to prove the goodness of N8 to you, You like it then you will love it, you dont like it then GO GET A LIFE !!

i love my n8. it is my first symbian phone and it is fantastic. i love this symbian experience.
updated mine weeks ago. it has flash player. it can play .avi movies with 1 + gb size. Battery is good. right now, my batter level is at 50% after 19 hours of unplugging from charger.
speed is very good also. search function is also awesome. there is an update to it few days ago and i updated my search widget. it can search even the contents of the text messages.

lol. Clearly we v got some jealous dudes in here, some people doesnt even have an N8 judging with their post. How will u b able to afford 808 when u couldnt get an n8?? Take it or leave it, its still d current king of camera phones. I wonder why everyone seem to hav various issues with their devices, maybe am just too lucky.hehe. If u are so used to Anna, then belle will look kinda complicated or rather bad to u, spend some time with it and u gonna love it twice as anna. trust me, just reset ur device with *#7370# after upgrade. with dat u wont experience those basic errors and bugs. N8 is one perfect machine nokia eva produced. Take it or leave it..

this beast is still fight after a year and 4 months since its release, received numerous update untill we came here the great belle, what other company can give such a support even some of us were thinking of symbian is a dead os.. I will keep my n8 until this pureview 808 (successor of n8) will be launched, hoping that it is running on carla or donna.
