I just fell in love again with my N8 ! Belle is Awesome no need for windows or any other OS the best hardware and OS combo!

Even my N8 stopped working after the update to belle and went to Nokia care center and they have taken my mobile to the head office to repair.. Hope i haven't received my mobile yet they said they will sort out the problem by 7-10days .. so my personal opinion is go to NCC rather going for any other shop and they will fix it out ...
But missing my N8 from last wednesday .....hope will get my hands back on this saturday counting my days ..

I mean, come'n, wake up, look ... moreIt’s been 3 days I’ve updated mine still lot more to learn , according to my experience, I’d like to share something which u can try it by yourself ….. Yes it’s true that there is no option for sub folder inside a folder but I created a folder in the main menu and I kept all the games in it and another one in which I kept all the office Apps which is not so bat . Even the arrangement of folder and application are must better then Anna.
Yes we know that ‘In Anna, I could just press and hold the "call" button, or the green call button, my phone would get ready for my voice call.
But now we have better option which is “activate Voice Command Application and keep a shortcut in your home screen-just press the icon and speak the name of the person whom you want to call. Or download Vlingo (available in OVI store) and you will be getting must more option like status updates on facebook, twitter, write sms and also u can even command for Google search in the web.
Even the icon in the home screen is far better according to me. now we can even check the mail in bigger widgets and music player widget is awesome…
I like the new version of browser in which we can open many windows, select and copy text from the page, watch video while downloading and so on ……
Even in Belle, my lock screen clock would go off if kept in my pocket or the phone was faced down (saving energy in the process) the only difference is “it’s too fast to turn on the clock, we hardly notice that whether it was on sleeping mode or not but I have experience it, it’s working . And I’m using sleeping screen Apps which is nice screen saver.
I don’t find any issue in gallery for multiple marking –Go to option and select mark all- in order to mark all or if want to select multiple photos –select mark multiple items option ….
Even call log option is fine it’s giving one month call details …..
But still lot more to experience…….All the best keep N8-ing

Great Camera! Great battery Life! Great Phone Features!
pretty smooth as well for a 680mHZ phone. This phone is worth it! Apps are not that plenty but key apps are there. Sync FB pics to contacts, birthdays, download youtube vidos, download FB pictures for starters.

And on the notification pulldown bar there are only 4 maybe in another update there might be 8, saw somthing on nokias sagestin page for belle about this...

finaly i have updated my n8 from nokia service center its became fastest phone when my os was anna its hanging in 5 to 6 apps in belle is very fast so i am happy but one thing now i cant play on videos on youtube,,,,but i am very happy with its fastest speed,,,,

I haven't updated my phone to Belle because my operator hasn't yet approved the update. Based on several peoples comments both here and on other forums I've decided not to update until Nokia release a bug fix/service pack, if they ever will.

i updated my Nokia N8 Anna to Belle . After updating my phone i see this problem that my phone doesn't show gps information when i capturing any photo. When i try to capture a photo i noticed that gps is not available notification. But when i close my camera option my phone show that gps is available. I also check the settings. Actually what is the problem ? When i entered camera option then gps option show me that its not available but when i close camera option then it show gps is available. When i first bought Nokia n8 its work its gps function properly. Plz help me

I want to thank you for the further explanations,they are really very very helpful.
Because I have no computer at home,(only at work), and because Friday was outside Athens, I saw your reply this morning. From what you say, I think it would be wise to wait a while before I do any upgrade. However, before I do anything or if i see anything regarding "Belle"/updates here in Greece and for my phone i will inform you.

WI-fi Issue in belle:
When I'm connected to a wireless router(home,work) and i go to a place were the signal can't reach, my wi-fi disconnects.Until here nothing bad!
But, when i turn back in the area were i can find the wi-fi signal the phone doesn't want to connect.
It only shows "wifi known" and if i tap to connect is showing connecting for 1 sec after that goes back to "known"if i restart the phone I'm able to connect with no problems but the story repeats every time i lose the signal and i must restart the phone every time and of course i lose plenty battery juice upon restarting process.
The open widgets that are using the internet are:chat,social with Facebook,topApps,email.
Anybody experience this issue?

Belle, at last! I fell in love again with my N8. I had updated my N8 with belle OS. Just like I bought a new phone. Faster, more ram space than anna, what have you? Its a new experience for me...
And if rumors are true that N8's successor will come out in May 2012, I'll buy 1. But I will never let go of my N8.
Cheers for Nokia people who painstakingly developed and shared this new OS to satisfy us, customers. I admire you, people.

I dont think so that n8 is lagging in performance anymore (after belle update) i am using it and the difference is really significant. for the past year or so n8 had been a part of me although S^3 and Anna was rubbish but Belle had really speed up the whole mobile experience. if n8 successor which i hope so is will arrive in May this year i will still buy it. possible specs are 16 megapixels camera, optical zoom, 1.4 GHz processor, 512 mb or 1 gb ram. with belle OS. (Great) and the apps are improving day by day thanks to new QT SDK.
