dear all everything is perfect 100/100 now to N8now its complete phone for me im very happy using belle just awsome my journey of using different phones ends using belle many phone i used but really happy gr8 Nokia you are number one in universe and in INDIA ...... :)

amit, 09 Feb 2012wat ur saying is to re-install anna update, coz the updater... moreIt sounds like either you don't have the correct version on Nokia PC Suite, or Belle is not yet available to you. The reinstall procedure I mentioned worked for me because I had flashed my N8 to the unofficial belle version 111.030.0609. If you are not already running belle the reinstall option won't help you. Hope this helped.

I had downloaded the l... moreYou have to use Nokia PC Suite 3.3.86 if you're not. Open PC suite and connect your phone via USB. Once it shows connected hit the software update option at the top (white arrow, green button). The drop down "Software Update" screen should appear and check your PC software and phone sofware. The option for the phone will state: Your phone has the software version 111.030.0609 intalled. If you have a problem with your phone, you can reinstall the software." Click on the "reinstall" button which should be blue to start the process, and you will get Official Belle. This assumes that Belle is available in your area and you have the earlier version of belle 111.030.0609. Nokia Suite won't prompt you for an update as it sees the same version release number. Hope this helps.

Please take a notice of my issue too..and moreover after the update the pitch of the default nokia tune has changed and it has become more hoarse and slow its not lod enough like the earlier version. I want to be sure wether it actually is the case or there is something wrong with my update..

Hi Ray.
With the BELLE rollout you seem to be busy as ever helping people and providing questions to their answers. You should be a PRO for nokia by the way things are going lol.
The reason behind my post is because I too need some assistance now, with navifirm. Can you perhaps tell me why there are 2 belle versions for product code 0599399? I have downloaded both allready and have yet to update my firmware because i first would like to know if you know of any differences between the two.

AnonD-15087, 08 Feb 2012HI Guys, I have a sad news for you...Yesterday i update... moredo not worry my frien i am sure they gonna fix it or gonna change it if is defective ,i have my nokia n8 since february last year ,flash it lots of times drop it ,and still working ,never restated or switch off itself ...hope they gonna give u a good one with belle on it :)

for those who experiencing hanging, lagging, shutdown after updating to belle, i suggest that fully hard reset your phone and format your mass memory and memory card then reinstall belle, you will get a fresh nokia belle, some files have conflict with anna.
