When you are in Nokia Store re-choose your N8 and there is a choice to Add Belle operating System
Then it will download the correct Skype installer

I don't know of any apps for the N8 but there are plenty of PC applications that you can use to do what you need. Many years ago I remember using Audacity to edit some MP3 tracks with good results. You can download the latest version from the following link.

The proximity sensor will activate itself automatically when you are on a call and place the phone to your ear. It will turn the screen off to prevent accidental operation of the screen.

ya, 02 Feb 2012fayazmex.......i want to take advise ...i want buy mobile..... moredear brother my suggestion for u that go for n8 bcz n8 is better than iphone 4s.its my openoion bcz n8 is a pure multymedia device camera sound quality amoled screen resolution battery life etc batter than iphone the only thing goes to the favour of iphone4s and that is iphon,s speed.except speed n8 is better.and i think speed is not the issue for multy media users.

Anonymous, 02 Feb 2012does it support video calling, and pls post the linkya i hv c7 n i do a lot of video calling,n both of them hv same hardware abt front camera....i hv done video calls(3g) to my frnds hving C7,n8,galaxy s2,galaxy sl.....
But neo v or any other SE phones dont support video call via 3g, they r just for video chat ie. via skype n fring etc

Hello n8ers ive got few questions bout the phone:
1. What's your normal battery life.?
2. How can I get better battery live.. Even tho ive turned of the wlan scanin', no open apps in backgroun, 50% brightnes I get 35 hrs of usage. Im heavy user 5hrs talk 2hrs web browsing in a day and 2-3 hrs music..
3. Does belle improwes battery life.?
