My n8 is awesome. I love the camera resolution, so i dont need to buy a camera. Haha. Its all in the nokia n8.

Yes my friend, your N8 is genuine. It is a Middle East/African variant. The latest available firmware is v25.7.
Nokia also have a factory in Finland.

To check whether your N8 is a genuine Nokia phone post your product code here and I will check for you. Don't worry about it being made in China because Nokia do have a factory in China so chances are it is genuine.
To find your product code type *#0000# into the phones dial pad and look for the eight digit code beginning with 05******.

That really depends on what you would consider to be regular usage. For me, I use my N8 for texting, checking emails and the occasional internet browsing. I also use it to watch TV programs I've downloaded from EZTV.IT via an HDMI cable connected to my HDTV. With that sort of usage I usually get between two to three days before I need to charge it again.

The SD card won't slow the phone down in itself but filling it with data and then trying to access that data will slow the phone down.
