Yes mate, do the reset and your phone should be fine afterwards. Be careful of what apps you install afterwards because you don't want to have the same problem happen again.

good phone nice camera but the software is kinda shitty not so many apps as on the android .
internet browsing is not very good some work there to be done.
the phone sometimes freezes and you have to wait and sometimes a reboot is required

Despite all negative reviews of this fon..i went n got one and im glad..love it excellent fon..the touch is a bit iffy..bt its very responsive. Downside...apps market and poor ovi maps..as a mattr of fact im sendin this msg from it...typin isnt a breeze bt u gt usd to it wit time..nt an iphone..bt it packs a punch..thanks nokia

I've today bought an iPhone 4s sim free after owning an N8 for over a year. I'm glad I made the plunge - it is different class I'm afraid!

processor do matter in the phone but N8 is better than 701. Im using n8 with leaked belle.. Its very smooth. Im wandering how smooth it wil be on original belle. And i have each and every HD games .. N my N8 can run every HD game smooth without hanging..

U can download the downgraded version from www.n8fanclub.com. Its PR 1.0 Its the most stable version of around 115mb. And then u can update to Anna via software updater. And u wil get the anna on ur n8.

You do seem to have some serious issues. What firmware are you on at the moment, official Anna or leaked Belle?
If your on Anna make sure you have installed the extra two Applications 1/2 and 2/2 updates. If you have already done that then you will probably have to do a full factory reset and data wipe. Type *#7370# into the phones dialer and enter your pass code (the default is 12345 unless you have changed it yourself). This will completely wipe the phone in all memories (including an SD card if one is present) so make sure you back up your important stuff first but not system settings or apps.
If you are running leaked Belle then there's not much advice I can give you (other than the reset procedure mentioned above) as I'm not running it myself. Maybe Gazzasore can advise you as he seems to be the main man regarding Belle.

It sounds like you have corrupted the memory card by putting it in the BlackBerry. The only solution to this now is to re-format the card but before you do this, connect it to a PC and see if you can retrieve any important media files that you don't want to lose when you re-format the card.
