I tried as you mentioned, but did not work. So had to do a format *#7370#, now Store is not opening at all.. Tried to install from Software update via Suite, but failed. Tried downloading the OVI Store from Betalabs, but still failed.
Any suggestions, how to get OVI Store back?

Navifirm has new releases (11.12,13.16 &14.2) for N8. Does that any way mean that belle is out for N8 offically ???

Symbian Belle is really amazing. I am the kind of guy who would rather wait for the device update than flash with a Custom FW. But to my surprize Belle was a charm.I am talking specific to the Belle customized by Xeon. I had tried the delight and was quite content till I lay my hands on the one by Xeon. I am unable to put in words, how fast my N8 runs after the dreadful experience with Anna. I specially like the Animations & transitions while navigating & switching from one screen to another. For all the guys who are still giving it a thought about Belle.... I say Do it !
Here are some Noticible plus points
→Better Batter life
→Fast Boot
→Reboot option
→Faster Camera
→More sensitive touch screen
→Amazing Transitions/ Animations
→Smoother Kinetic Scrolling
→Less RAM utilization
→Useful widgets
→Improved gallery Features

@ Dipto & Gazzasore.
I know it's the right thing to do but as I said earlier, I just can't motivate myself to flash Belle onto my N8.
I think I've lost most of my interest in the phone. If I've got nothing better to do over the weekend I mught give it a go. One of things that is putting me off is having to re-install all my apps again after the flash which will take hours. That's not something I look forward to to be honest.

Hello Martin,
It sounds like something went wrong with the store update and may have corrupted your QT installation.
Download the latest QT files from the following link.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/30612400/QT%20files.zip
Unzip the folder and install each component in the exact following order to your C: drive, not mass memory or SD card.
QTSA 4.7
QT WebKit
Qt Mobility
Then try updating the Nokia store again.
If that doesn't work you may have a corrupted mass memory or SD card (depending on your installation preferences). If that's the case then a *#7370# reset is in order. This will wipe all memories on the phone so you need to perform a backup of all your important stuff first, but not system settings as restoring these later will also restore the original problem.

As I understand it, Belle Delight v3.6 is the latest and therefore the best one to go for. I'm not sure what version is available at N8Fanclub as I tend to stay away from that site (my PC got infected with a trojan from that site a while back).

Hi Ray,
Need a help..
I have an issue with the Nokia Store.. I am not able to download & install the applications.. After the download is completed it goes to installation, then fails with an error message.. Installation failed, Installation error..then when I click on that, it says download again..
earlier I did not have this issue, it started with the latest store update. now I uninstalled and gona back to the initial version, but still issue persists.

What you need to do is make sure that the video stream is in the correct format. You see, MKV isn't a video format but a container for video and audio. That actual video format inside the MKV should be encoded as MP4, with a scale size of 720p or less. CABAC reference not to exceed 4. File size should be 4 GB or less (limitation of the phones FAT32 file system). And frame rate should be 30 FPS or less.
Chances are, your particular MKV isn't playing because of the CABAC reference frames set too high.

i have installed belle 3.6 successful...but i cant HACK my phone.therefor nothing other apps installed on it.
As belle already have ROMpatcher3.1 but it cant help me to install any apps...
Anybody plz help me for hacking...or give app that can hack my phone...
I will be very thankfull....

i belive we will get the symbian belle tomorrow. Took my phone to care center nokia and they told me to wait since they might update it . So i am hoping we get it soon.
