it's high in interest also because its a good phone, gr8 hardware specs, with a average symbian Os, witch jst got good with the Anna update, we post not jst the problems but what we like and the reason many post because they know about it or have it, people who write thier problems with nokia n8 might have got those of the bad batch wich i once had it too, i bought a new one and its working good.. love it. many who hate it also criticize about it in all ways they can. simply because they cant accept the fact that is a good phone.. and as all electronic devices not all are perfect few do hv flows but the fact cant be denied that millions of n8 users love their phones and many are yet buying it..

Anonymous, 31 Aug 2011If this is such a crappy phone why is then forth in ratings... more I'm usually a bit suspicious of people who post anonymously but I'll respond all the same.
The reason it's first in daily interest is because of all the issues the N8 suffers with. The majority of posts on here are from people asking for advice on how to solve this problem or that.
I was asked my opinion on whether someone should by this phone or the SE Neo. I gave an unbiased and truthful answer, so why have you been so upset that I didn't recommend the N8? It shouldn't matter to you one way or the other, nor will it alter other peoples experiences in owning their N8's.
Don't be so touchy and relax.

Hi Gud People!
I just bought nokia n8 recently, i need to protect it from viruses. which anti virus is best ?and please post me the website to get it and its updates.
Again i need to create a google shortcut on my menu, to avoid typing the address every now and then. it is a challenge to me, i dont know how to do it.
Lastly im experiencing a challenge when i connect my phone on the wireless internet. it does connect, but it does not give me an option to set the ip,mask and domain addresses, how to do that? and it always use my data bundles that are on my simcard even thou i connected to the wireless network.
Please assist me gud people, I need to use my phone to the fullest!

it's speed is so fast as apple ipod

I have my N8 since it was first launch... morebetter caching is what iphone 3gs has that n8 lacks... i use n8 myself and waiting for a second or two doesn't bother me at all as i can wait. i don't need system tweaks, i need a phone that perfoms with just the right price... :)

I am sorry to read you are currently unable to update the N8 with the Anna software.
Unfortunately at the moment Tesco Mobile customers are unable to update to the Anna software.
We currently have a Tesco Technician working on this at high priority to bring this update to Tesco Mobile customers.
I am unable to provide a timescale at the moment, but hopefully this will be available in the very near future.

i updated my n8 to Symbian Anna last week, also updated Symbian Anna 1/2 and 2/2, now today thrz another big update on my Ovi suit when i connected my n8, its 276MB, im currently downloading it, does anyone have a idea in wt it is about? or is it symbian Belle thats out?? :D :D il review when iv installed the update!

i updated my n8 to anna using a comupter but after switching on my phone i found two more updates: symbian anna update 1/2(1854kb) and symbian anne (3052kb) i have been trying to update through the phones software updater but am getting the message installation failed. Any ideas?

seems with belle on n8 every one may stop thinking of Android OS :) check in YouTube defenetly nokia will be on top again with belle and Nokia we are waiting for belle on N8,,,,,,,,,,,update asap.

hey, after Symbian Anna update, the battery drains out in 14 hrs, without not much use(only used about 30 min calling..)
is it the problem with the update.. plz help me out..!
before update i was getting about 30-35 hrs with heavy use..
plz anyone say wat the problem is..?

B... moreso i just need to install that and scan my phone is that it? hmm and how about the pictures on my phone or other files? because when i look at my e mass memory on the file manager i can't see anything but when i look on my adobe reader i can see some of the pictures on the phone...
