Hmm..with belle coming towards the end of this year , N8's life cycle has been prolonged a bit.but with merely 680mhz processor, belle might be the last major UI update the N8 will receive.
then new flagship phones will be unveiled.i guess that is why the new belle devices (nokia 600,700,701) comes with 1ghz processor, later updates after belle will need the extra cpu power..
but anyway, i think i read somewhere that the cpu in N8 is actually downclocked and the real speed is actually around 700++ mhz..if the remaining cpu power can be unlocked then maybe N8 can support future updates. maybe not all future support, but at least enough to give nokia a bit of hope if somehow WinPhone failes and the fact that nokia doesnt take meego too seriously..

my N8's screen cracked without it falling down. and they want 100 Euro to fix it... otherwise with the new Anna it looks Androids in the eye

can u tell me which is better
simply i know the feature sheet
but i compare btw android phone( 1 ghz with 512 ram ) to symbian pnoe( 680 mhz and 265 ram) with better camera
is it enough for android to run is single core processor????

What smartphone should i buy guys?? Motorola Defy,Galaxy Ace or Nokia n8,one thing that i really dont like in defy and ace,is the video recording..Specially on Ace,15 fps recording WTF?? So what u guys think about?? Thankss

Most... moreexcuse me i think u dont know wat ure sayin. .i also did flash my n8 to the leaked belle and im not a developer. .if ur an avid n8 user then you should know n8fanclub and etc. Who helps n8 users how to use d leaked belle. .sometimes researching helps before u comment. Lol!

awsome phone....just upgraded to symbian anna ans it is really fast.....video recording cranked up to 30fps....really love my N8

Every feature is very fine in this set but i am not agree for it because i cant hide any object in this phone every object show on photo......

I locked key pad. when incoming calls coming. i am not able to answer. key pad not working. If i do outcall i can do by unlock the key pad.

N8 Lover S, 29 Aug 2011Where did you get Belle update? It isn't released yet. Most... moredude belle beta can be downloaded from the internet n8fanclub good site to find,it is beta but working well i am using it from about 2 weeks now .some bugs i noticed are :
the ttpod extreme player not working
the computer can.t see the pictures in the phone in mass storage mode ,i have to sync first with ovi suite to be able to download the pics in the computer
the battery monitoring app sometimes it shows the wrong level of available battery power ..just sometimes
these are bugs i noticed everything elese working much better than anna update lol

lol installed the leaked beta belle firmware and what i have noticed in terms of the best inprovement so far is the os ability to use the swap memoy (about 267 mb the size)..soo i have installed performance monitor , that show you in real time the cpu ,gpu, ram and disks usage,tell ya i was able to open about 50 apps ,two of them hd games ,and the os used mainly the swap memory ,perfomamnce monitoring app was showing the following:
ram free 102 mb from 257 mb
c free 82 mb from 266 mb
d free 88 mb from 112 mb
gpu free 10 mb from 33
swap free 41 mb from 268 mb
lol in the old simbyan 3 never seen this to take memory from the swap .never been able to open that many apps in simbyan 3 i put my word for this
huge inprovemennt somenthing like the swap memory is been used as ram and is the first to be used and after the ram lol
anyway soo much better this belle and definitly worth to flash your phone if don.t have warranty on it
