When we record videos or take pics in the day time, the clarity is fantastic, no issues at all(12mp is worth).. But when we record the videos in the even or take a pic in the night the purple colour is sceen..

Hey, guys. Zup! Am currently thinking of switching phones. How many messages can N8 store? I know I shouldn't compare it with sony ericsson (C901), but mine has over 6000+ messages and can still take on more. Thanks!

How do i configure my phone to NOT show i have a txt message when the screensaver is on? only when i press the 'menu' key does the text message icon show?

I work for a big cellular network in SA, and have sold many Nokia N8's... A friendly warning: DO NOT GET YOURSELF THIS AMOUNT OF TROUBLE! About 80% of the N8's that I sell, comes back. Worst phone EVER, from a software perspective. In fact, nokia's in general are getting WAY behind the rest of the guys out there.

the cause is the country code...
i am from mauritius and the country code is +230
if i dont put the country code, when i recieve an SMS i dont know which contact has sent me an sms...then i started adding country code to my contacts....it used to work fine with symbian^3 when incoming call i could see the name and phone number of the person calling me..but not anymore with symbian anna. if i remove the country code from the contact list...the problem persist in the sms...where i cant find out who sent me a msg....as sms recieved always start by +230 (which is my country code) and there is no way to disable this...
this is the only problem i find with symbian anna till now
also sometimes when i just switch on my phone...i got a message "fail to startup"....contact...then i need to restart again...any1 having the same problem???

My nokia n8s battery life has becum rly long after updating it to anna, has lasted 3 days and the bars are not even half way down.. Nokia Symbian belle is going to be out in a few days,, :) nokia rocks!

Hi am from srilanka.i updated my n8 via ovi suit.all are working fine but my OVI applicatin is not working bcz it is not connecting to net when i opend it, any one facing this problem? any one know the what is this problem plz reply toooooooo meeeeeee. thank u

Hello everyone. Please I will be very grateful for your assistance. I just updated to Anna and now my contact name do not appear when I have an incomming call, only the number. This makes it very difficult to know who is calling before I answer the call. Thanks.. Thanks
