Why do people bother about ui? I face no problem with symbian ui. why do people need spoon feeding to use their mobiles? I think
..the functionality, performance, usability, hardwarewithgood built quality ofamobile are more important than its UI. n8 rocks with symbian anna.

It makes no difference if you update through Ovi suite on your PC or via OTA on the phone. The end result will be the same.
Updating with Ovi suite will download the entire firmware image, but updating via OTA will just download the files necessary to update the phone.
If you have access to a PC it is preferable to update via Ovi suite as it also creates a backup of your phone in case something goes wrong with the update.

You can now get an update for the n8 allowing it to operate on symbian anna, also the specification and UI on the camera has improved, the video now shoots at 30 fps rather than 25. obviously these updates have to be downloaded first!

Is there a problem in UK and Ireland with Nokia server unable to download Anna? Phone instructs me to use pc downloads maybe 70% and stops

Because I too updated to ANNA and only the tint from the clock in the lock mode has gone. However the tint still remains in the pictures and videos. Can you please check this out and reply. If your pictures and videos are tint free then i will reinstall ANNA again according to the way you had mentioned. Please help me out in this...

please give your new ratings to the nokia n8 after the symbian anna update.the present gsm arena ratings 8.4,8.5,8.4 should be increased after the anna update...
