According to Nokia the Anna update should be available within the next three weeks.

It does seem the USA and Canada are last to receive firmware upgrades, not only for Symbian devices but Android phones as well such as the Samsung Galaxy S. Owners of the SGS in the USA are still waiting for the Gingerbread update which has been around since May.
This time Nokia have worked hard to try and get everyone globally updated at the same time, rather than the fragmented approach they used to have. They haven't quite pulled it off though.
Keep checking over the next few weeks and you should be good to go.

After updating to anna my phone is working even better.
It is smooth as silk.
Love split screen portrait qwerty.
Application are more faster now.
I think nokia had done something new to free up gpu cause nfs hd is running much smoother than before.
Now want belle which will gonna blow the mind of android users hahaha...

go to "video" mode
then go to settings
then scroll down: restore camera settings
should work :)

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2011what is the difference between symbian os & androids osSymbian & Android is totally different OS (Operating System). I don't know whether you have heard of computer OS (Windows, Mac, Linux etc). Now-a-days our smart phones need OS too. iPhone uses their own OS called "iOS", Samsung, LG, HTC etc uses Google's open source OS "ANDROID", based on Linux, Symbian is developed by Nokia, based on C language. Use-wise, iOS is the most responsive, Android is very fun to use & Symbian is very much customiseable. All the OS are softwares, so they tend to crash if you don't use them properly. Symbian tends to crash (though I love it better than any other OS), but it is more user friendly & provided multitasking from the very beginning (even when other companies didn't even think of multitasking. I'm talking about year 2003-04). But iOS & Android, being new had the privilege of developing the OS as people need & Nokia didn't think anyone can compete them (what a foolish idea) & kept their OS almost same, unless Android hit the market, competing with iOS in the touch-screen phones. That is when Nokia started to run like anything, but it's already late. Now they are trying to catch up (Symbian Anna did catch them up somewhat, not not totally). If you want to learn more about different OS, google the following words: "iOS", "Android", "Symbian" & you'll find more than thousands of pages on the subject. Hope I made you interested in some homework.

My ... moreYes, my log is showing everything except packet data connections after anna update, which is not fixable even after hard reset. And the worse part is being unable to do a 3 keys hard reset after anna update, so it is forcing me to do *#7370# hard reset.

hey guyssss.....i bought my nokia n8 1 week back it is a very good fne but i m facing a problem nw a days i update my n8 to anna operating system nw whenever i use my fne for ovi store it olways giving me error when i want to download any application frm there that error is " network connection error plese login later" but youtube and other programs are running perfectly wid wifi .....plz help me

hi, i hv getting anna update, after that setting in camera mode does not open, whenever i tried to do its automatically goes to MENU, and camera application been closed
