Hi guys. Wanted to know whether u can do tethering with this fone. Hw are the internet speeds with this fone while tethering...and hw is the battery life....

eternal legacy was ok, graphics were great, gameplay not so
but dh2 is, like avatar and spiderman, simply great...
the games are probably ported from other os, but i dont really care. also the game runs smoother than on htc desire

Was talking to my friends (iphone 4, htc and blackberry owners)about how I hooked up my N8 to my 47" led tv and played games and watched videos. You could see their awe and longing. Anytime I mention the awesome features of this phone I am called a boaster. I dont even have to try, the N8 is the king of em all

hahaha :)they say there's too little apps for N8 but I am getting cautious now because my phone has 300mb sized games, the latest DH HD is really awesome, the audio is stereo^^. It's like playing pc on my phone. Games and apps are getting better. GO developers!

It... moreExactly, well put Ray, i mean what's the need for a video to display when answering, you still need to look ,after you answer that's it, only ringer ids make sense answering calls,when you hear a certain audio you know who the person is ,and you either answer or ignore and not waste time to look at the phone.

Video ringtones are not supported on the N8. It's a feature that was removed from Symbian^3, as it was deemed to be a useless feature on a mobile phone. It's a feature also missing on the Samsung Galaxy S running Android.
It's understandable why it was dropped, as it would be silly to stare at your screen watching a video when someone is calling you. You would just answer the call and not watch the video.

If your asking about the three finger suicide method of hard resetting like this:-
Turn phone off
Hold down – Menu Button, Volume down button, and Camera button together
Press the power button.
The phone will vibrate and restart.
Avoid doing this at all costs. It is only meant to revive a dead phone and should only be used as a last resort.
The other two methods of resetting the phone are "Restore" and "Delete data and restore".
Restore is also known as a Soft reset and can be performed by typing *#7380# into the phones dialer.
Delete data and restore is also known as a hard reset. Type *#7370# into the phones dialer.
The default password is 12345 ( or your own if you changed the default)
Before performing any reset back up your important data first such as pictures and videos etc. Don't bother backing up settings as when you come to restore you will be restoring the original problem that led you to resetting your phone in the first place.
You could try re-installing the firmware using Ovi suite first. That may solve whatever problems you are having. Also try and clear up some phone memory by uninstalling apps you don't use or need and transferring pictures and videos to an external source such as your PC. Delete old texts and emails as well, backing up ones you want to keep using Ovi suite.

The only reason why Android is number 1 in smartphone marketshare is because every manufacturer who can't make their own OS and their dog uses it. The Android Market have a lot of apps but those apps are not cometely compatible with every Android device out there. It's very fragmented. Some are made specifically for a certain model and would not work on any other device. The apps are of low quality and app piracy is rampant in Android.
Android is the most overhyped thing ever to hit the tech world and every anti- Apple geek on the net praises it more than it's worth. It's the Windows Vista of smartphones. You need powerful hardware to make it run semi- decent.
I really can't wait for Nokia to release their WP devices and lay the smackdown on these Android OEMs.
