midps, 16 Jul 2011pls do nokia n8 still have d purplish reddish display? Some... more There are reports of the purple tint problem being solved by some people who have updated their phones with a leaked beta version of Anna.
Other reports of replacement screens solving the problem have also started to emerge.
So I would conclude that Nokia have finally got to the root of the problem and have re-callibrated the driver software that controls the screen. Some said it couldn't be done with a software update but reports suggest otherwise.

nokia n8 is good and better than all the phone....
that is not true
nokia n8 is good and quality phone
but not better that all phones
and don't compare with android because android and symbian have very different with each other
for better you compare it with symbian to symbian.

we have open eye and can see what is poor, good & better.
nokia n8 is good phone but better than all phone..................

I am using N8 with symbian anna.....its cool and fantastic.....superb.....fast and responsive.... worth phone to get....

We android users can use gesture search in browsers.we have browsers like dolphin hd and mozilla.we have realplayer flash player 10.3/adobe air/many free office editing tools for free.all the new hd games.we can customize our phone In any way we want.have got over 200000 apps.best screen,processor,ram,video..and we also use hi power laptops but we never got cancer or tumur as the electro wave comes from the network signal so its also present in Nokian8.
