as for the other features:
fm transmitter - i use it daily in my car, at parties,... the aux cable is not always an option (not all car stereos of other audio devices have aux in - same goes for bluetooth streaming). also, the cable is a nuisance in the car (depending where your aux in is) and you dont have it always with you
tv out - you need to buy the cable (i got it from a friend's n95, she didnt use it) and i dont use it as often as hdmi, but its great for showing pictures, videos, even playing music or games. not to mention web browsing on a big screen
hdmi - i use that more on my lcd, mostly for watching videos and showing pictures (with nokia bigscreen app) and its great combined with a wireless mouse. only files up to 1.5gb work. i hope "anna" improves on that, but you can always split a bigger file.
usb on-the-go - i've tried connecting a lot of stuff and most worked: usb memories, mice, keyboards, led lights, other mobiles (dummy, android, symbian), external hdd,... some didnt work: usb hub, and older keyboard, gamepad (although a gamepad would be sooo cool :)
so, basically, you can navigate to a party while listening to music wirelessly, get there, play music on any hifi stereo, record everything and when you sober up, show the pictures / videos on the tv and copy them to everybody's usb memories / phones,...
no other mobile can do that, no mater how many fart apps they have

I don't use TV-out but I do use HDMI which is ... morejust to correct you, noise cancellation is used only for calls, to insure the best voice quality and automatic adjustment of volume
when recording videos, the second mic is used to record stereo sound, which surprised me as well
not even sgs2 has stereo sound and it makes a big difference

v can not compare any other phone wid N8, it has a good 12mp camera and also good looking. E7 is good but no comparison wid N8,bcoz E7 and N9 ve no card slot nd no 12mp camera like N8.now i m seeking other nokia phones like n8, but inspite of good searching, i could't find like it. but i m still searching, lets see.

I mean using USB OTG to use keyboard and mouse and HDMI out to browse web on tv its all geek stuff.Us geeks love all these bleeding edge tech wizardry that the N8 brings us.

I don't use TV-out but I do use HDMI which is excellent when used with the Big Screen app. The FM transmitter is useful for playing music through a car stereo if there isn't an auxiliary socket in the car, but yes a cable is a better option for that.
USB on the go can be useful for transferring files from a usb stick to the phone and vice versa. Lastly, noise cancellation is good for recording sounds in videos. Sound playback is clear and crisp. I recently took some videos of my daughters playing in the park and when I played it back on the TV via HDMI I was surprised at how good the audio quality was. Every sound was picked up, including birds singing in the background.

-tv out.
-fm transmitter(isnt aux cable more easy to use).
-usb on the go.
-HDMI port.
-Active noise cancelation with dedicated mike.
Is there a lot of difference between 1ghz single core proccesor and 1ghz dual core proccesor?

aaaa, 16 Jul 2011anyone using Nokia N8 from US, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore... more both N8 & e7 are not considered poor people phones ,they are elegant problem free, within limitations obviously if you load the full 16 Gb it will slow down some i have both with the N*8 loaded with 32 GB sd card works flowless today i took notice prices for both went down considerably the N 8 now cab be had in mainland china for $285 and the E7 USD300, buyer be ware there are some chinese copies its looks are very deceiving the case is in palstic and not metal as the originals they are exported all over the average price is about 150 USD all the fakes do not have the 2 stickers on the back one white the other green,the only way to tell the shitty copies is by close observation in doubt connect them to OVI and try updating copies will be rejected by OVI,personally i believe many of you that have problems with either units is that they are copies from china or HK and not real nokia

I heard people talking about how Symbian is so much easier than Android so I recommended the C7 for my aunt and Android for my 13 y-o cousin... My cousin has familiarized herself with the Optimus 2x fairly quickly, but my aunt is having hard time getting used to C7. She says Optimus 2x is much easier to read from and operate... fancy that. I think I made a terrible mistake recommending Symbian to a non-techy person.
First of all she cannot enlarge any font on the phone. They are just too small for her. Does anyone know how to make them bigger? Is there an app for this or anything?
Second, is there Korean support for Symbian? Read and type in Korean? If not type, at least read? Make the whole UI Korean without changing the firmware?
Errr... when Anna comes would it support the two mentioned above?
