Eight months old and still an interest of 43%...the N8 is one of the best smartphones ever. Can't wait any longer for the Anna update (August for W-Europe).

Nokia 2600 total buy units = 160 million.
Nokia 1100 total buy units = 127 million.
Think it any other phone are reach near this.

pls help me to clear a doubt? is Nokia the only company that offers totally free GPS without use of internet(including data roaming and wifi)? i heard my friends say that all phones MUST connect to internet in order to connect to satellite? is that true?

Nayeem, 15 Jul 2011Its the worst phone i ever have seen...!!its having hanging... moreYou don't have to hard reset if you phone hangs. Just press the off/on switch for few seconds and the phone will restart.

There is something else I've discovered about Android/Samsung and that is if you set an alarm and switch your phone off then the alarm will not go off! Apparently, Android cannot read the state of the phone while it is switched off. Unbelievable, but true.

Please help me to solve my Nokia N8 Issue. when... moretry to restore factory setting... i think you installed some application not compatible for symbian^3... avoid to download 3rd party application specially s60 it will caused hangin your device or not recognized some files, or freezing the UI...
If the issued is remain, i recommend you to make hard reset your N8 or go to the nearest nokia care to make a major reflash to your device....

Dear all,
Please help me to solve my Nokia N8 Issue. when i go to setting -> Application management--> Installed apps , my phone always show scanning memory. i wait for half an hour, it still the same under scanning memory, do anyone face this problem ? is it my sofware probem or memory card ? i can't do anything when it show scanning memory, so i have to switch off the phone & restart again, and then when i go again to setting-> Application management--> Installed apps , it still same .
PLease help .

Its the worst phone i ever have seen...!!its having hanging problem..!! since its battery is in built its only remedy is to hard reset..:(
