I was gifted a Nokia N8 mobile.. but when am inserting my simcard its saying "SIM CARD NOT VALID".. can any1 help?

Its not worth d buy,coz it hangs terribly,the Screen goes for a toss.The only way the person can revivve it is by switching it off & again switching it on ...
I will nt recommend N8,big waste of money....

i dnt knw hw to download HD videos for n8 so anyone can assist me with that,and even m also not able to dowload the hd games for my mobile so any one can assist with the best site from where where i can the games for my n8,and enjoy those games...i want games lyk(spider man,avatar,and something related to gun fighting)if u knw pls pls pls pls let me knw....

@ ABC123: You can go for N8 for the camera & USB on the go pen drives/ keyboards/ mouses, and for all other major areas, Galaxy is better.
Sound quality is almost same in both sets.
I would say get N8 unless you really need a fast processor.
@ listocristo: It has flash enabled for the default web browser. And it can play flash files and apps.
Yes, it has adobe reader preinstalled...
Guys you can ask questions, I have N8 and have tried all the stuff with it...

this is the worst phone i have ever owned! In 5 months, i've had to put it in for repair 3 times. The phone turns off on it's own, even during phone calls, it freezes and reverts back to factory settings.

listo christo, 04 May 2011Am interested in buying the n8 as compared to x10 and galax... moreN8 have Adobe reader and flash player. but I recommend don't buy this handset because my handset is three months old and it go care for Four times. till now it's in nokia care.

ABC123, 04 May 2011You people seem to know a lot. I am undecided between the G... moreGet the Galaxy S2, Motorola Atrix 4G, or LG Optimus 2x. They are super fast phones. Just look at their specs. I've got Atrix 4G and I am blown by its speed. Nokia's RAM is just a quarter of these super phones. Even Iphone specs are no match against these beasts. Don't bother with camera megapixels because no matter how much are they have, they are still all point and shoot. Still, nothing beats the dedicated cameras.

After 12 years of Nokia I have had enough. It's the worst Nokia ever. They should have stopped at 6310i or maybe N95. THOSE were a good phone.
