Anonymous, 14 Apr 2011You are totally right. This comment section has turned into... moreYes, I think its the responsibility of the website admns and moderators. I want to see discussion about N8 here but most of the time I read about superiority of androids and failing of nokia. Why dont people live and let live and why do they want to tell me that I made the wrong decision by buying N8. I mean all the cons of Nokia N8 on one side but can any other phone beat its camera. NO WAY !! I say this because I use it regularly and that was the main reason I bought it. I might be missing on the good features of android phone, but I can live with that, but I do not want to live without the camera on my N8. Thats simple. So my request to all N8 bashers, is to stop moaning, if you cant or dont want to buy it then do not whine, buying a N8 is a very thoughtful decision of all the owners, which would not change by your comments. I also request the moderators to delete all such unwanted comments.

It's a wonderful handset. It supports all the social networking site and picture clarity has no doubt. It's excellent and owner's pride!

N82 owner here. I've used the N8. It has excellent hardware. Love Xenons, USB on-the-go, FM transmitter. These are the qualities that make the N82 superior to Galaxy Ss, iPhones and HTCs

I was always willing to pay hundreds of dollars for unlocked Nokias (as they didn't come w/ service plans in The States) because I didn't have to pay $25/mo pda fees as Palm, HTC, BlackBerry and iPhone users must.

I've stuck w/ Nokia since the 2003 Nokia 6600. Unfortunately, they never did major updates to Symbian. It remains slow, unintuitive and the menu screen is sparse.

Even w/ Symbian's efficiency, 256 RAM and a 680 MHz processor isn't up to high-end snuff. The OS betrays the hardware and specs.

Nokia is just lost. They release too many monotonous phones that get lost in the shuffle (N81, N85, etc) and barely get advertised before a replacement is released. They planned to switch from Symbian to Maemo, then they're back to Symbian3, now talk of Windows. They finally released a smartphone w/an American service plan. It's w/ T-Mobile & they're being bought by AT&T. Nokia just can't get it together.

For these reasons, I've jumped ship to Samsung Androids.

Jman, 12 Apr 2011I'm an avid Nokia phone user. WTH is going on in this forum... moreYou are totally right. This comment section has turned into a "war zone" and its all because of people who do not like Nokia and/or Symbian. Its quite simple, if you do not like a product/company then stay away from it and don't comment because you will only end of upsetting people who are supporters. Its very sad and quite unfortunate.
