      lemme tell you guys one thing. go and check the pc req for windows xp. and check the specs of n8. compare and tell which OS is better. bloated android that needs 1 gig ram or a simple symbian thats happy with 128 mb. and btw im sure you wont run hard on her oh day one trying to open hell lot of apps. no one uses it like that. limited. and nokia has nice speakers. i.e. call quality. its good.. thats why i recommend it.

Pr... moreoh and one more thing i forgot to say. here in India we have good nokia care here. and other service centers suck so since we have better service thats why people here go for nokia blindly coz of their excellent build quality and after sales serivce if at all the phone gets damaged. mostly it wont. and btw the costs of repairs are cheaper compared to other products. lol a joke is that nokia was known to be owned by the govt. cheap and reliable :P just a joke.

          I've had it for 6 moths. Great smartphone! I will until the Nokia N950 and if it has the same camera, I am going for it :)

              i got one 3 months ago (finnish one)and have no problems with it at all.
              battery lasts for 2-6 days,camera is magnificent,speed is fine,so is multitasking.
              had 2 updates sins.
              it's worth it's $$

                      Price of brand new N8 must really fall very low because of what is happening to the quality of their products. And slightly used N8 must be sold 90% or more same as the brand new N8 & not 75% only because customers are selling it not because they made the defects but it was from the manufacturer's side. I believe outlets who bought a defective N8 will just return it to the customers service centers & after reclaiming it they will just resell it as expensive as the brand new one. Its a tandem between supplier & retailers. If the customers go directly to the service centers, Service staffs will not really repair it but will just upset the customers until the customers finally decide to sell their defective units in a lower price. These tactics originate from peoples of South Xxxxx.

                              Anonymous, 03 Apr 2011Of course which company will tell to their customers DIRECT... morewell yeah ur right i wouldnt tell to sell and buy another one if i were the company but its the customer's choice! you had a defective product and you wanted to give it back and thats fair enough. nokia takes it back and gives another faulty piece. i agree with you only on this point that its not nice. but other wise if the prices fall and you say you lost coz of the fall in prices!! i wouldnt blame any company! the dealers are the ones who do it. nokia sells it to them at even almost 50% of the price ur paying and the rest 50% is by taxes and the dealer's profit! let me tell you. the very same nokia n8 here in India from a local dealer's shop is some 23k bucks whereas the same from a nokia priority dealer its 25k bucks! now do you agree? if not! go to (http://mobiles.sulekha.com/nokia_n8_mobile.htm) for prices at local dealer's and here (http://www.nokia.co.in/find-products/products/nokia-n8) at a professional nokia recommended price!! see?? the difference is because of its dealer's choice man!! simple economics!! so dont bother that prices fell after you purchased-used-sold and say that nokia made you do it!! here are many others who sold their faulty n8 and purchased another one and are saying that the new one is really good!! and price always fluctuates!!! so always buy a day before any software update!! coz software update increases the price here!! and dont talk about commonsense here!! we have it more than you do!! atleast more than you do!

Of cos nokia won't care for one or two defects, even ip 4 can't make a call/call drops for every single units, did they even care? Free bumpers yuck, yet glass body, more yucky. So for one or two defects, and blame d company isn't fair for them dude. I work in same field and I sympathise you.

                                        got mine 2 days ago.. it works fine perfect without any flaws.. when i got it it came with PR 1.1 installed..

                                        waited for this phone 3 weeks.
