iam unable to download the music videos on the hnadset from internet like from website: www.savevid.com, giving error message java is not supported please advise as its saying download java when trying to do that it going for pc version for windows xp or windows 7 what to do

N... more@ Aaron yes its better to sell defective n8 and buy defect free rather discussing and going again and again to NCC ..and problem with dipto is he doesn't want listen or see or accept the problems of n8 though he himself is the victim of facing problems but despite of that he's ignoring the defect and problem and shouting like mad here in this forum ....yes nokia n8 s very wonderful....but problems of this is not overing yet...nokia made a statement that its not a defect its . This is related to the display manufacturer's optical tuning process.and some users r experiencing a slightly higher level of purple color tint on their device screens.but don't know whether its true or not.....

[deleted post]I'm not a troll like you. I've sold my old defective N8 and as a matter of fact, bought a new defect-free N8. It's million times better than going through the hassle of sending the phone to Nokia Care for repair. Because no matter how many times you go to NCC, your phone will never get repaired. They will repair your phone but same problem still exists. And even worse, they might screw up your phone. I know better than you because I have lots of experience with NCC to back it up. But it's still up to you if you want to keep with your delusion that a Nokia N8 with defective screen which Nokia did not even acknowledge publicly will ever get fixed by Nokia Care's very bad customer service

I'm just suggesting a way with proof to cope up with a problem until it gets resolved officially.. And by the way i missed out that with light control software the brightness almost equals and to me supercedes superamoled which further reduces purple tint

Guys.. i am having a problem.. since last to days ovi store on my n8 is not working.. when i click the ovi store icon the green loading page appears and it keeps on showing loading until i close via task manager... i've tried everything even hard resetting the phone but with no success... Guys tell me what to do... plz help me out.. thanks in advance..

i have a doubt.. will purple screen harm the device anyway?? i mean does it have any effects performance wise or anything that is bad for the device? or its just a purple screen??
