I remember trying all the apps I could get my hands on that even remotely interested me, but I haven't seen this one. I guess it only came with Symbian ^3 and went away with Anna. I might actually have all those apps burned on a CD somewhere, but, again, not this clock.

I have used N-8 for 3 years in 2011-13. The camera and quality of pictures were excellent. Later I've used many smart phones (Nokia Lumias, Galaxy S-6 & S-8, iphone-7 etc) till today, but couldn't get such a superb camera. Still waiting for camera like N8 on smart phone.

I also have a n8 and I can't remember seing that option. Maybe because I iuse a CFW. But no. No NFC for the n8 :)

hi admin, you said that nokia n8 doesn't have a nfc feature... but when i upgraded the software to the latest symbian belle refresh, there's a nfc feature in my nokia n8.
So, nokia n8 have nfc feature via software update just like nokia c7-00, isn't it?

Aadrian , 12 Sep 2018I changed the date to 2012 and then the app started to inst... moreI don't remember that error, might be that it requires downloading something additional from the internet that is no longer available. Who knows... It's been a while since I turned my N8 on, though it's still around.

But after a few seconds it stops installing and showing a message something like “you can tap this icon to resume the installation later”. But when I do so, it eventually does not react anymore or it says download failed.

Aadrian, 02 Sep 2018I found the nokia sleeping screen app and sent it to my N8 ... moreIs your N8 hacked? If not, maybe that's the reason. Alternatively you could try switching the date on your phone to an earlier year (I remember this method used to help for some installations).
As for the screensaver, I was using something called Big Digital Clock Screensaver (Symbian Anna Screensaver) - is this what you've been looking for?

I found the nokia sleeping screen app and sent it to my N8 (that is what bluetooth can be used for, Apple!!!) but somehow I can't install this app.

When the N8 launched it had a very nice looking analogue clock for the glance screen, but in the update to Nokia Belle it is gone. Is there a possibly to get that clock style back? One can only choose between a digital one and a rather boring analogue one. Sadly.
