i thought PR1.1 is an update but its the PR1.1 that makes my N8 purplish reddish because before the release of PR1.1 my phone resolution is perfect. I think pr1.1 really means PurplishReddish1.1 Is there anyway to restore to the original settings before the PR1.1 and not automatically be updated to PR1.1?

Now I don't have anymore analog clock in the screen saver, before it is showing in my phone but 4 days passed only digital clock. I tried already all settings but still no analog clock???????? shittttttt!!!!! While under operation it freezes & automatically restarting. My phone is getting worse & worse everyday!!!!

to Nokia please prioritize the reddish purplish screen before solving other issues like qwerty keyboard in portrait mode or enhancing the web browsing experience etc... because it is so disappointing & annoying & painful in the eyes to have this kind of screen. you'd better be delayed in releasing this phone in the market & make it completely perfect rather than releasing it earlier but so many criticism & problems are coming from time to time. you are destroying your own reputation in the mass. We need solution now!!!!

to nokia it doesn't mean we are saying good things about n8 you will just ignore the problems we encountered. my n8 also has a reddish purplish resolution even when playing video. may i know the exact date you will fix those problems? why it takes too long? its not fair! could you please answer our questions? is it hardware or software problem? does it can be fixed with the coming software updates or you have to replaced the defective amoled screen with the heavy duty one? i buy nokia because i trust & believe that your hardware is heavy duty one. don't brake the trust i am having with your company otherwise i wont buy anymore nokia products.

It appears after locking the screen,the upper half part of the clock ! Nothing else !

Believe me guys Nokia N8 is the best phone... Its more user friendly than android and ios.. Phone lovers go for it without thinking much... Im sure u wil love it..

I got N8 3 days back.....
I just check that it has reddish effect too....
Clock is reddish...even everything which should be black or gray is reddish....in videos i see all red instead of black or gray.
Plz let me know if its with all N8 or mine only??

jeffmc07, 28 Feb 20114GB... 8GB doesnt work for me....N8 can read HDDs of any memory capacities but they should be formatted with FAT or FAT 32 systems and if they're not externally powered, your phone should be hooked to the charger while they're connected

My n8 is almost a month @Nokia Care they changed whole hardware but cannot fix it, still waiting for next batch of hardware to fix this problem... Demo unit Of Nokia Store No defect reddish compared mine its also affected in other color not only in black, also in green,white,blue color its look reddish purple.. i mean if your themes is green instead of green the color will became reddish,
