akhi, 30 Jan 2011i js bought my n8...my earphones r giving some wierd sounds... moredud i had same problem . You just push your headphone pointer into mobile headphone socket forcefully. u will hear sound when it will get fixed into socket.

finall i bought nokia n8-00,(finland made),i cant use the social network app(facebook,twitter) in home screen,if i edit the homescreen..all other widgets are shown except social network..am really eager to know my facebook updates in ma nokia n8 home screen..guys plz tell me..how to insert social network app in home screen..reply me...

Honestly? Don't read to much into all the recent doomsday on Nokia. Why? Because its not new. They've been saying about Nokia's fall for years. In fact I'm one of those that did forsee Nokia dying. In my opinion, 3 mistakes. 1) Very very very late rollout of their touch platform. 2) Convolute Symbian development roadmap. 3) Canceling Maemo.
So as you can see those mistakes weren't recent and therefore the naysayers have been having a go at Nokia for years. But here we are, declining profits, smaller market share and still shipping more phones and still the leader. And these supposedly "professional" commentators never factor in the Elop and America factor into today's Nokia. Only repeating the mistakes of the past.

why? Because N8 it really work fast and smooth responsive. its loading fast except default browser but will upgrade soon html5 high speed browser...
For Me Graphics of N8 is 101% perfect and awesome when playing HD games
Default Resolution Yes not so good as 100% But if you install the mode v4.0 resolution and pixel look nice look like superAmoled...

1. Remove the plastic covering camera glass
2. In application>sw update install all updates
3. Enjoy your n8

It is funny and frustating that high end devices such as N8 from Nokia doesn't have the reception in areas where the barebone basic phones shows almost full signal..

guys just saw ndtv good times i feel very bad that there's no point of discussion regarding nokia,feel so bad and they announced that motorola has started making phones like laptop featuring and motorola have taken the mobile to new technology which is comparing to laptops .the motorola atrix 4g is on the way to come ..nokia do something bcoz i can't see nokia failing..but everyone has to agree that somewhere nokia is still back from others...but they made nokia n8 its really nice but nokia have catch up the race from others bcoz day by day others are creating something new and nokia is still slow now days ...

I have the worst experience with ... moreWhy do people have to hard reset their phone, you will just end up having 0 QT apps due to that and giving it back to Nokia Care just because your OVI Store application isn't there in your phone, it would be so silly . . . doesn't nokia introduce a software call NSU also known as Nokia Software Updater, all you have to do is just flash them over, 10 times better than manually using hand to do the hard reset . . . the only thing it does is just to overwrite the corrupt firmware to a new latest firmware and also solve the restarting problem toO . . . what so ever beginners always get panic and do something there not suppose to and silly stuff that actually can be fixed through the computer your facing now, but end up having to do the hard way by pit stopping to Nokia Care and let them do the rest for you . . . all that matters is that be "patience", try to fixed them by yourselves, if something happen that you think what you do is right but end up the other way round, DON'T PANIC !! you know you have a valid warrenty, Whats the use of it?
