trebphil, 29 Jan 2011thanks aaron, you really know your stuff. i went to a shop ... moreWow, that i can tell your having a harsh time, if your lucky you'll be the second person who will return defective N8 7 times or less, because my buddy did it and he wasn't asking to much questions to even care about it, he said as long as you have your valid warenty for the phone, all you have to do is to pit stop to the Nokia Care and tell them whats the probs then they'll do the rest but luckly for my friend, the 8 times turn out to be a very good one, he bought his in beijing for your information . . . Again to him, his lucky to have the original one because he had only couple of days left till he gets back to his hometown . . try to imagine if your like him but end up having a defective one till you get back, IT WILL BE SAID I TELL YOU And that is why we have many trollers out here in this forum bashing N8 is a white flag to all the top phones now days because they end up being the disapointing one

There are 5 pre-installed themes which match the 5 ind... morethanks aaron, you really know your stuff. i went to a shop to buy this phone but what a big disappointment! when i tested the camera, after it shoots, it hangs. i tried it twice but got the same response from the phone. i went to the photo icon to see if the picture i've taken is there but the screen suddenly turned itself off, also happened twice. i went out of the store immediately. i don't know why that stupid store sells defective n8 unit. i still like n8 and want to have one but i'm worried what if the unit i bought would show defects after a while? i have great expectations for the phone but after this happened i'm confused. any comments or advise? thanks

its really great..........still its quite fat and 3.5 inch screen and the music is nt as good as 5800xm although n8 is latest.......and 5800 is better......

Symbian's user interface is the one outdated not the operating system itself. You don't call the only operating system so far that can multitask heavily, can connect to most number of devices in the most number of ways, can output 720p on tv, has their own great and free mapping solution and is already 4G-ready, among others, outdated.

N8 is a biggest problematic device, you will don't dare to buy this if u dare u will not satisfied more problem i was faced more problem with battery backup,social network widgets problems i think its not success device if u need more mail me shivajyothsnamedical@gmail.com

There are 5 pre-installed themes which match the 5 individual colors of N8, dark, silver, blue, orange, and green. And there's also the Midnight themes available via SW update that also match 4 N8 colors this time not including the dark grey one.

After thinking a lot, i decided not to buy N8 and got me a Dell inspiron 15R laptop. Awesom gaming and videos are above the world. Battery is nice and better than n8. If N8 had 10" screen, it would have done gaming only 1 hour max.
And for dedicated gaming, i will get Next Generation Playstation portable when it comes. For phone, feature phones are best. Hope you understand.
