Great phone, I have to get used to it over and over again when I use my N8 next to my Lumia 1020, because the screen is so much smaller. But I do miss the times when 3,5 inch was big... the phone fits in my pocket EASILY.
Class, style and awesome built quality. That is how I would describe the N8. Simply great.

a matt finish lamination on the rear...n a routine clean transparent one on the screen... Now my n8 is again damage free n well protected... Love my n8

[deleted post]Thanks, I "liked" them right away. There could be a problem in signing the apps, my phone is hacked so it's no big deal, but I hope the others will find their way around it too.
Just spending some quality time tonight, watching Thor - The Dark World on my phone. Also I tried snapping some photos with CameraPro in 100% quality. Wow. I get 9MB large images. I'll have to compare the results with normal 90% ones but I'm impressed that the large files were saved just as fast as the normal ones.
Well, trolls come and go. He'll get tired soon. Hah, I was called a Samsung fanboy by Apple fans on the blog because I was pointing out what Symbian had before iPhone did. Makes perfect sense. :-)

I am also a fan of N8. Browser / browsing interface is worst when browsing normal sites.

2. Live wallpapers are for kids. And a battery drain. And boring. Put something personal instead, not something others make for you.

You can change between thousands of themes... moreU CAN SET UR ANY PIC as a screensaver or u can also put diffrent picture in wallpaper,screensaver,live wallpaper and ur talking about icon..so in android u can install any luncher then u can feel the diffrent...n man about u voice tone its too old u can set any video in ur live wallpaper...with voice assistance any command just i have to order to my phone then my phone instantlly responce me...

nokia N8 is the best of all the cell phones. i m using it since it launched. uptill now no complaints, the best is n8

I played with the first Galaxy today (with Cyanogenmod inside) and after 10 minutes I wanted to hug my N8. Opera Mini works much better on Symbian, the keyboard is awful (you need a course just to be able to highlight some text, no arrows, bad layout, hard to edit anything), the menus are awkward, I need much more typing to do the same thing as on the N8. Whatever I do it wants to sign in with Google, if I turn the flashlight or compass on I get advertisements, etc, etc. I would need to test 15 similar apps to find one that works properly. I won't even talk about the camera. I tried some cheap Android tablet too, the camera wouldn't even start and it was as laggy as if you run Symbian on 100 MHz.
Anyway, some people report there's a fake "improved software" update, due to an error on the Nokia servers. If anyone reading this gets the notification, don't download it, it won't install.

First you charge the battery as well. If you cannot update your N8 by yourself , please find the IT technician to help you . After updating you can switch on / off the mobile data faster, setting the camera menu is better too. . .ect. .but the battery backup is still the same (not improved).
Thanks to Nokia for the amazing camera phone :)
