I know you all know that N8 made a history and still making it. The first phone to reach a mark of 10 million hits, almost 30,000 comments, and 159,000 votes WOW.
I guess N9 will be a more famous phone. N9 will continue N8 domination.
Nokia will surely make a loud bang during the MWC.

but my phone's death for just buying 3 days...
now still slping in the nokia care of malaysia..zzz
i think even till now, its still the so call 1st batch
i'm not saying nokia product not good,
just that.... DID THEY EVER GONE THROUGH ANY QUALITY CONTROL BEFORE RELEASING THIS KIND OF CRAP??!!
i admit, the camera is good...but the music, just plain normal...wonder how is galaxy S or HTC mozart perform, anyone here care to share?

After switching of the lights in a room and the place is in total darkness, take a picture in the dark with the n8. View the picture and tell me if the lights were off or on when the picture was taken? The xenon is awesome for pictures. The led is nice for videos. The n8 lacks that but it does a good job in without one. Havent tried it in complete darkness though cos i'd say that wont work out too well!! I dont miss the led at all. BTW, the phone is loud. You want that louder, use the fm transmitter or connect it to whatever you want like the tv, pc, hometheatre etc.

The best part is having your phone in your pocket and transmitting all your music wirelessly to an fm radio! Sitting in your car and watching say a movie on the screen but listening to the sound coming out of the radio speakers! Watching hd movies! Using your phone as a remote control to change songs! Playing a game and listening to the game sound effects on the car radio (tried that with haux hd game when it starts up...awesome!)! Connecting your phone to a tv via hdmi and watching movies or captured videos using your camera! Using a rca cable on a normal tv and playing music or best yet...playing nfs or asphalt 5 on the screen while using your phone as a steering wheel! Hooking your phone to a tv and browsing the net while using a bluetooth mouse and bluetooth keyboard to navigate! Using your phone to connect to your pc wirelessly via bluetooth and say browse the net! OTG transfer of stuff to a friend say via usb otg after taking a video of some party to his portable hard drive or pendrive! Easy sending of say emails out of the office after say reaching home and realising that you forgot something and your docs are on your usb and the laptop is at work...connect the usb to the phone and send! Connecting your bluetooth headset to the phone and listen to music while your phone is say upstairs and you walking around outside! Taking hq photos anytime, anywhere and sharing them immediately with people! I tried all of these. Simple life integration. You gotta love it! No other phone comes close. You're gonna love it...trust me ;-)

But all the latest SE phones do not have loud speakers anymore onfortunately.
And HTC is not only big overall, the speakers are always tiny aswell.
Maybe you shouyld check out the X7, should be a great multimedia phone, with very good speakers.
At least im waiting to buy the N8, to check out some upcomming phones like the X7. N8 is little thick in my opinion and I prefer to have led for flashlight..

The os is not complete yet but the updates should fix that as they go along. The n900 can run meego along with the aava mobile so its good to go. I just would like the updates to be ota rather having to flash the memory, download the rom and copy the image etc etc to get the new version on the phone. Its got to be ready to go as say symbian is at the moment. At least. They have done lots of work to date as can be viewed from all the changelogs. I'd say release the os now and update as they go along. Heck even android released a pathetic os version of android in the beginning and look at them now. I think waiting too long can be detrimental but what i think they're trying to do is come out with a killer phone initially and then release other versions much later. BTW, from the media reports, be true or false, i here there is a possibility of a tablet release too. Lets hope that is true too. That would be one big comeback by the kings once again. Intel are flaunting the meego os already so its just about time for nokia to do so. Heck i've even seen meego running on a netbook! If its looking baked as what i've seen, lets eat! Think about that strategy again....nokia tv (already been released for multimedia devices), infotainment systems in your vehicles (big players already commited to meego for their vehicles), pc's running the os and lastly, your meego phone compatible with all of them!! Foundations are outlaid. Lets get to it then. One major assault including the american market were nokia have major investments in the 4g lte networks! Fingers crossed with you too!!

if SE releases a phone in 2 years that is great and doesn't have the traditional charger/earphones/everything connector. and if nokia doesnt have something better i will move back to them
and a HTC is too big for me, its got owk multimedia etc but its too damn big and not so cool os exept for the accuweather home screen with the windscreen wipers when its raining. the thing i hate about it is i cant get java mxit on the phone so that is a waste

And often those rumor's are false. But that doesen't mean i don't believe media all the time. You have to make sure if lot's of other sources of media is telling the same statement then maybe i put my finger croseed and hope it's good news and right. Anyway just you've written that the n9 would be the crucial main turning point of nokia. Lots of tech pundit said that android is no full mobile linux os. It's just share some kernel of linux blood on it. And of course it has issue with it's batteries performance. Meego os would be awesome os and i have watched it on the youtube about it's UI on some unknown tablet which i think is brilliant. Of course it's tablet not phones so we have to see what with it would look like once it's released. But i really hope that nokia announce n9 at MWC. Since it's such a big event. N8 is a very good phone and the sales figure reached 4million when it was released back at october. Delaying the phone announcment may not be a good idea for nokia to do. But then again we don't want half baked meego right. Let's just hope n9 will be announced soon enough.
