Anonymous, 13 Jan 2011comparing the N8 to the C7, which 1 do you think is better,... moreif i forget the camera then... N8 has hdmi port but C7 does not... C7 is sexier and also has a NFC chip which n8 lacks. Every other aspect is same.

[deleted post]are you mad comparing blackberry with n8??? Blackberry is a buisiness phone while n8 is an entertainment package. Both are targeted at different user groups. And iphone is such a dumb phone... Its not at all smart... I feel the even nokia S40 platform is better than ios

hi
today i purchase nokia n8 and it look really awesome.
touch,sound, display and navigation is very good and at last camera ---it is great....
if u believe in nokia than keep your faith in nokia.

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2011can some one tell me how thd graphics look on the n8 and do... more The graphics are pretty good actually, and there are some excellent HD games available such as Need for speed, Spiderman, Real Golf ( my personal favourite ) and many more.
The sound output through the phones speaker is good and loud and crystal clear, but sadly it's only mono. However, if listening through headphones or external speakers the sound is fantastic in stereo or Dolby 5.1 surround.
The screen does provide haptic feed back, but I disabled that as I find it annoying.

hey dude...the graphics are really nice and the vibrate is short when you touch the screen, no lag...the loud speaker could be louder, but for me is loud enough..i run several apps togheter and never freezes..the phone is amazing man..go for it!

I've watched several 720p videos on my 1080p HD TV using the HDMI output on the N8.
Picture quality is superb, as is sound quality.
The N8 actually outputs in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound, providing the video file you're watching is encoded with Dolby.
The phones speaker may be Mono, but when the phone is connected to external speakers, the output is in stereo or surround sound accordingly.

It is equivalent to playing the same file from my laptop when connected by vga cable to the same tv. However a dedicated media player gives a slightly better quality output.
Yes hdmi will output in stereo. Using the music player via hdmi is awesome.

nokia n8 is best phone i have ever seen. basically i am a sony ericsson liker but now i changed to nokia afer n8 has introduced. the camera quality is super than digicam, ui is also so smooth and games are like psp, display is better viewable at direct sunlight, so dont believe in any bad comment on this phone just go and buy it.
