TO YOUR QUESTION: ""after formatting my memorycard i couldn't install my old themes again on my n80 nor does new themes appear on application manager.can anyone help?""
HERES THE SOLOTION: ""Themes saved on the memory card can never be installed if you re-format your memory card. The one that appears on your phone are all the original themes that were saved on the phone memory.

      TIPS:
If anyone has problem with N80 or other model "6600 and above" you can RE-FORMAT the phone by turning off the unit. Then press and hold the green key, * (asterisk), 3 at same time while turning on the unit and release the keys once the nokia logo appears or once it lits the screen.""

This is the Best mobile phone by far. It has the most functions a phone can have. Any other phone that lives upto this ones standards (eg. LG with its 5Megapixel camera) looks awefully UGLY ! This is the most advanced all in one handset with a host of features. Not even the N73 is as good as this mate, cause only thing good about the N73 is the autofocus - furthermore it has lower quality screen, NO WI-FI / UPNP, aweful joystick and its rather big and bulky when carrying in your pocket, whereas the N80 is a little thicker but feels 10 times smaller. N80 is the King of all Mobiles !

Here are some explanation for updating the N80:
1.) You are updating only the PHONE OPERATION SOFTWARE (also known as FIRMWARE), that is embedded in the read-only memory of the device, including NATIVE APPLICATIONS such as the CALENDAR and PHONEBOOK. This is similar to the operating system software on your PC. The update consists of improvements to this software. User data such as contacts, photos, messages, and add-on applications such as Java games or Symbian applications are NOT PART of the phone operation software.
2.) The benefits of updating the software (firmware) include additional functionality and improved performance.

Mine is also V3.0617.06,03-05-2006,Rm-92, Nokia N80(12) but Iam satisfied with its current performance. I have bought add-on software from symbian9.com (Internet software, Office Software, System Software, Multimedia Software, Personal Software and Productivity Software.) These were great and you will experience the full extent performance of N80.

To N80 users you will experience the full functions of the unit if you would try to install the the softwares available at nokia software market and upgrade your memory card to 2GB. Iam using my N80 for almost 6mos. with its full function.

The N95 I think it would be much better than N80 and will see once it is availble at the market.

I just bought n80 exchanging n71 and was totally dissapointed with the camera quality, video shooting has grains & looks distorted, n71 camera clearity was superb . i simply bought n80. screen is also small @ backlight brightness is also less, i would suggest better go for n73 .Tommorow i am also going to get rid of n80 & go for n73

Looking for battery in the Philippines, you can try at Sunrise Commodities Corp. Contact No. 983-8440. or Rocis Inc. 815-27-36.

To anyone residing in the Philippines right now, can u recommend any store that sells HIGH CAPACITY batteries for the N80. I don't care if it's original Nokia or an OEM.

The standard nokia BL-5B that comes with this phone sucks big time!

                                        Thanks!
