For VoIP i use TIVIPhone..i downloaded it from www.series60v3.com. By the way what do u mean with pc assistance? u just need internet connection on your N80, being it Wifi, 3G or whatever. good luck!

I just got an N80 after using an N70 for a few months. The screen resolution is WAY better, i was impressed with how good photo's on the N70 looked until i compared the two. Down side would have to be the poor battery life, however with quality of photo's ill deal with it!

Sab0teur what application do you use for voip?Please help me use one that can be used independently.I was informed that the n80's hardware made it impossible to use voip without the assistance of a pc.

hello there. Im from Argentina and Im thinking about getting this phone. Could anybody tell me if Spanish language is available for writing SMS with predictive text?? I have no problem with english, but 99% of the SMS I send, are in spanish.

Hi JG, i think Owen is right! You might need to install a 3rd party Video Player program in your mobile phone!...OR you might want to consider of installing PC software/program that converts a variety of video files so as not to clog your mobile phone with a lot of programs thus saving more space of memory!

I've been using this phone for almost 5 months now! After a few upgrading of firmware and installed the SMS Accelerator...this phone really ROCKS! Nothing to compare with...solid, fast and stable! Battery lasted for more than 2 days and so...! Thank you NOKIA for coming up of such well-crafted and fully packed mobile phone!

i havent tried playing mpeg/mp4 videos in N80 but you might need to install a third party video player that reads mpeg/mp4.

Please help.
How do I save videos from my PC onto my n80 and view them using the phones pre-installed real player?
tried saving mpeg and mp4 by dragging the files onto the memory card folder "videos" (while the phone was in data transfer mode) but the player wont play the files.

I just found this program in one of the Forums i got into! Though I havent tried yet but i think its worth trying! Good luck!

The usage of VoIP with N80 is totally independent of your PC..remember N80 is a guenuine multimedia computer as Nokia describes its N series. I don't have 3G, but i do have wifi in several points..it works fine!

It's been a month now :) N80 is doing great with me. Battery lasts 2 days and sometimes a bit more with light usage. Haven't tried the WIFI yet.. Cool cam.. screen.. sound.. Chapeau Nokia..

How do you use VOIP?Do you need to use it in conjunction with your pc?(through bt/and wifi on your cell)if so it's not very useful as you would have to be within 10 metres.I know other cells use skype through 3G.Any feedback on this particular feature would be appreciated.

hi..last time i used N80. My suggestion is if you want the best standby/talktime go get the high capacity battery (not nokia brand)and the power is 1000mh.

I used VoIP on my N80 via wifi...its works like a dream! i think this is thanks to the wifi speed ability of this wonderful device!
