Hi I have a music question I hope someone can advise - been looking to buy an N80 but have just read a review that says the N80 doesn't have support for stereo audio - is this true?? I know it will play FM radio in stereo but will it play MP3s in mono or stereo??? I have the 3230 which does this and I find it annoying.. thanks for any replies

hi guys! have any of you tried browsing yahoo mail through the n80's web browser? my n80 just doesn't let me enter the site even if i have already finished supplying my id and password? many thanks!

My Nokia N80 rebooted itself today after i went to send an SMS !!
im on 02 network, its also very very slow and freezes constantly, i had the Nokia N91 aswell, that was even worse!
WHAT is going on ?
I also have to reboot at least 4-5 times per day..
the battery lasts just over 1 day from moderate use, bit of bluetooth, sending SMS and MMS messages, few quick phone calls..
overall i really like the handset, but WHY oh WHY must i constantly put up with all these problems..
can ANY of you tell me, my old N91 had superior video recording quality to the N80, but the camera wasnt as good.. WHY is this? or am i wrong?

yes yes. this beauty will stay in the market for quite a long time 'cause of all it's RICH features. If youv'e done your homework and u check/compare/know about all the great specs (like me), you WON'T purchase a phone OTHER than THIS BEAUT ! !

I have just called to upgrade my phone to the N80 to be told it has been discon due to software issues - is anyone else aware of this?

Cheers for the posts..I have ordered a new long life battery which will hopefully cure the batt life problem. Not a heavy user, lot of texting, no mp3/surfing but the original battery lasts one day after having the phone 2 mths.
Went into my O2 shop today and they say the freezing issue could be a software problem which needs reloading. This is gonna take 1-2 weeks!!
Did go onto Nokia.com and found out that I have an old version of firmware. To find out, press '#0000# whilst in standby and it will display the current version loaded. Looking on here, the latest is version 4 whereas I have a version 3 from May.
Will let you know what happens after I get it back from O2 as Nokia cannot transfer the new Firmware remotely...they can for N70 but not the good ol N80..

furthermore about the post i just posted..
landscape photos taken at night suck as well. Like if you want to take a photo of the street lights or a photo in the city at night, the blackness is very VERY grainy and its annoying that i paid this much for the phone which cant provide such a simple camera function for me..
if im doing something wrong please inform me how to improve the black grainyness at night, if not, you know it sucks as well =]

I'm having same probs sending texts and freezing up, takes bout 4mins 2 send a text! and then bout half the time puts it in outbox 2 send later n 4gets bout it. I'm on Orange. Having spoken 2 them 3 times (when can get thro) they waiting 4 tech dept 2 ok a replacement. There is a VIRUS think celled "Golden Warrior"? I haven't got it but worth checking - from main screen hold * key down for a minute will tell u if its there.

Anyone who posts negative comments about this phone; obviously hasn't use it first hand. I've had this phone for 3 months now, and still nothing comes even close to what this phone can do. S603rd edition is the best, and available software keeps growing. N80 is truly ahead of it's time; and yet one more reason why NOKIA is #1.

I'm interested in purchasing the N80. My only concern is using the # pad to type in text applications (It's so slow using # keys). Is there a way around it?

n73: no wi-fi...pity. N80 took it all:-) btw can sum1 pls tell me if the n80 can browse files on another phone viA bluetooth ? Like samsungs. thanxx ;-)

BTW da n73 dusnt come near 2 da n80, vid res. on da 2 phones r da same. n73 has carl zeiss, but a fwend wit n90 said it doesnt m8 a recognisable diffs. wit carl zeiss optics. n73 scrn is slightly bigger, but scrn res. is lower than n80 which m8 da pixels BIG & mor visible.Also n73 scrn is 2 big 4 DA phone and theyv'e almost 4gotten about da keypad (wich's very small) squeezed in wit shitty joystic
