This phone is awesome if you're worried about having your phone stolen - no theif could ever get away unseen with this one, it'd be like trying to steal a fridge in public.

Not only that, but because of its wieght, it doubles as an excellent hammer.

Watch out for the 'out of memory' errors though!

if you read ISS post below the w900 fairs worse in battery stakes,,that said its still not good is it for 2006 they shud be using a lithium polymer at least 1400 ma why that amount well i did a big test on another fone using full everything & lasted 6hrs 10 talktime..anyway none of my tests matter does it this is now & i dont own any firm & people hav asked for a bigger battery but still years on they put little batterys in,,A bigger battery isnt that much bigger in weight& size & the bl5c which is in my 6680 fits but is too long by 4mm & im sure they cud have easily gained that length just looking at the fone bottom

I went to the store the other day and asked how to help keep the battery of my N80 longer. the guy told me to use it until it turns off by it self. then charge it overnight for at least 6 hours. i tried it but it didnt work. still having trouble...

Hey I've had this fone for a month. I like it but im really getting tired of it, to tell you the truth. It was all good at first because of all the new features, bright clear screen, and everything. But after a while... all of a sudden... NO!!! i'd look at the battery meter and there's one bar left! I mean, wat's da use of all the fatures without good batteries??? and whenever i travel, the signal is horrible!!! Also, it crashes a lot and is oh-so-slow!!! after using this fone for a month, I really want to exchange it for my previous fone, SE W900. But, I can't exchange it because it's been over a week now! now, Im trying to find a way to trade it for aa new W900.

The upper part of the phone is not stable at all when slid in.But that does not affect durability. If you study the mechanism, you will see that the phone will not crack easily. And the battery life is not that bad, compared to the great display and features. The only con is the camera. No matter how much I try, the pictures are awful. There should be autofocus here.

                I'm a little dissapointed.
1.My n80 was always restart when i browsing via wifi.
2.The slider is too loose, it will always open when i pull from my jeans pocket.
3.runs out memory quickly (after runnung 2-3apps on background)
                4. The batt was a JOKE! I have to charge it twice a day

n80 does have video stabiliser its the little hand that shows wen video recording but i cant find a way to turn it off...Into my 8th week now and from beggining the top bit does wiggle a bit but secures wen you slide it out..the web browsers good & first went to this site(gsmarena.com) & there it is in its glory but just finding out how to scroll around & get used to it.If you go to nokia .com thats preinstalled bookmark its all about n80 & battery life for radio playback only is 27 hrs .YES video is a bit rough in bad light & battery life is not top notch but everything else is great & since being with symbian since n3650 this one has taken a bit of getting used with landscape gallery, the new menu button wich i keep forgetting about & other bits but cant get wallpaper fulldcreen & cant disable stabiliser & there is still tonnes of software to upgrade yet, even handandgo is very limited.

I recieved my N80 on the 4/8 from a local provider here in Australia.

On first inspection, I realised that the front doesnt really sit on the base of the phone all that well, I dont know if anyone else has had this problem, but you can definately wiggle it from side to side.

I took it back to the supplier and they have sent it away to be repaired (or hopefully replaced).

Apart from that battery life wasnt all that great, but expected with the level of software that the phone does use. Very happy with the phone though, and I hope that Nokia can rectify the problem with the loose slider.

does the n80 have a option for the slide not to answer calls? so you have to push the receive button.. great phone otherwise

one query re: pdf viewer. when you open the pdf file, does it open where you've left off? this is very helpful especially to those using this to read long documents like books saved on pdf. thanks.
