The black version is nicer - it stands the test of time. Whereas the silver version looks good at certain angles only when the chrome surface isn't shiny and reflective...
And why are so many people dissing the video recording? I actually find it extremely superior relative to most phones on the market! And for crying out loud it's a mobile phone. If you want a top notch video recorder than go get one! Derrrrrr!

does n 80 has a same handfree sound like w800i of sony erricson has because i am looking forth to buy this mobile
if it has so plz do mail me and tell me and do teel me that should i buy a nokia n80 or wait for n 93 ??? plz do mail me guys

the n80 has beaten the 6280 to the orange shops. as a new customer i could have one now for £25 or so plus £25 a month contract. as someone whos last bill was nearly £50 and have been with orange since the start i was told "no you cant have one for at least 6 weeks and even then it will be a £250 upgrade fee"
looks like its time to be come a new customer with someone other than orange. i want this phone, i have been waiting a year for something worth buying to appear...

Sorry that is imaging device not multimedia. To bad the Technical Image Press association (TIPA) did not bother to test the camera on this N80. As I said to bad that Nokia's quality control is poor as well. Even more, people spending hard earned cash on a device that does not deliver. Do not get me wrong this N80 is an amazing device.

Hello, I really cannot understand why everyone is getting so excited about this N80. There is one big problem with this so called multimedia device of the year. Video recording is absolutely terrible. In fact terrible is being to soft. I know I had an N80 and tested the device for two days. Conclusion most likely a hardware issue. Here we have Nokia shipping thousands of these faulity phones and no one seems to care. The video fault is apparent in indoor shooting and also noticable in outdoor shots in dark areas. Thank goodness I did not sell my N70 and I returned the N80 and had a full refund. I shall by another when Nokia get off their backsides and fix the problem.

have my n80 for the past one week
i got to comment this
1) i think that the silver/black n80 looks more professional. the pearl black one simply is juz black paint lacquer onto the metal part and a black plastic casing
2) wifi is great as i have tapped into a few area to use it
3) batt life last about 2 days with average usage!!
4) music is simply awesome. once u know how to tune the equalizier, i can say, it is on par on ipod!
5) loudspeaker is so loud that my mum scolded me to blast my phone
6) normal .sis files is not supported but the new .sisx
thats about all!

to mahi . phones in saudi arabia comes from dubai..and all n80 and n91 are available in SA so it will also be available at Dubai.Check out at axiom if u can

does the nokia N80 have the same audio layout as the N91. the N91 got a type of Ipod layout and i would like 2 know if the N80 haves the same....

to whover asked how to get a better tarrif on o2. is peasy, all u have to do is say that u are leaving for sumit like vodapoo cos of better customer service and much "cheaper" tarrifs, then they want u to stay nd stuff and give u gr8 deals ;) andy1 know when this and the n91 are out on o2 cos i need an upgrade and they both so hot...but not as hot as 8800 mmmmmmm

I'm amazed to see Orange are one of the first to sell this phone ! They still haven't released the 6280 yet !
N80 looks a much better phone anyway ! Can't fault Orange for it's service. I've used all major UK networks (Except T-mobile) and have found them to be one of the best!
