why is it so that in the specifications its mentioned as 3.2 MP.whereas on the mobile its mentioned as 3 MP.Overall the mobile is very good.it has all the features that one would in ones mobile.Good job Nokia.

i wonder people who are stating that the n80's video quality is horrible, didnt even have time to look at the GSMarena review or WHAT?!!!! whats the piont stating false info for the sake of letting people think twice before buying this device!!!!and for definite the picture quality of the N80 will be better than the N70 !!!!!

the battery life is not too bad can last 2 days for using wifi/ radio/calls also not very thick fits nicely into pockets and handbag

Have they chnaged the metal finish on the silver version from the earlier prototypes? It doesn't seem as shiny/glossy???

Guys! Dun ever think abt getting n90 now, it's a little too late seriously. Coz n93 might be hitting the stores anytime by the next few months. Juz stick to ur n70 if u have one. And remember!
-THE PICTURE QUALITY OF THE N70 AND N90 ARE THE SAME
-THE VIDEO QUALITY OF THE N70 IS BETTER THAN N90! N90'S VIDEO AIN'T THAT SMOOTH AND IT APPEARS TO BE LAGGY
-LOOK AT THE DESIGN OF BOTH OF THE PHONES, N90 LOOKS SO OLD SKOOL

I think N90 currently still the best camera and video phone. Maybe when N93 is out, them we can compared and update again. This N80 camera so so but video horrible (maybe cheap len been used).
I assumed that whether 2 or 3 megapixels is not so significant unless you want to photo print a bigger picture but up to 4R shoul be for a 2 mega phone. The most important factor for a good camera phone is the quality of the len. Disappointed with N80...

btw, how is the camera and video for N90.
I want to sell off my N80 & maybe buy N90.
I hate the inferior quality of the video (N80).
Don't mind the size, as long it has a good camera and video phone afterall, we pay so much for N80 also for camera & video.

Thank God this buggar, m9F6 has left forum. He was speaking too much without any sense.
It was like hollow drums sound alot! He was empty from inside. Probably a loney man in society. I think he joined a different forum like lonelypeople.com ;)
N80 is giving so many problems with video shoot. On the other hand, N91's performance has also disappointed the Nokia fans. This new N-series has proved to be a majot flop for Nokia. They must fire their Research & Development Engineers for such pathetic phones with so many flaws.
I feel like a deceived Nokia fan :(

hi guys! i was so excited n happy w my new fone until i realised e video taking is having major problem!!!!! i used 2 hold n90 but traded in 4 n80. n now i regret! WAT HAPPENED 2 E SUPERIOR VIDEO QUALITY IT SUPPOSE 2 BE??? it carries so high level of noise tat i juz shut it off e screen 2 feel 2 irritated 2 look at. i've not touched n70 before but i'm surprised though it's not cz lens but it's still a 3mp cam (n perhaps w a good plastic lens), besides e significant pic quality improvement, e video quality should take a great step ahead 2 i suppose. do u guys think should i pend 4 upgraded software version or should i trade it off at high price now n reserve e money 4 future 'top class' cam fone investment? (i've a normal spare fone at rest). tx in advance 4 u guys' advice.

I rec'd my phone on Friday,great phone although the battery life is not very good, it won't last a full day if you use it quiet a bit !

Hi,with reading the comments said up to now about the N80 it doesn"t sound a good mobile so Please all those who have got the N80 now give there opions an views about it so i can make the right choice ,GSMARENA give a review about the final handset as soon as you can so me an the others can make the right decision wether to get the N80 or not

Very true have just visited some other forums and it seems this N80 has loads of problems. It will take Nokia a few months to sort the firmware out!

guys i really want to know should i go for the N80 or no??!!! the issue about the video quality is very strange N70 and N80 have the same video resolution but with different lenses,then how come the N70 is better!!!! and also the phone packs a hole lot of great features and its very unfair to say the N70 is better!!!

It means its not a very good phone and so should be avoided.*
*Particularly if that phone is expensive.
