hi all, i work for nokia in the uk and i can confirm we have this phone available on 8th may. i have also been advised we will be the 1st to stock in the uk. let me no any q's

duz any 1 hav an idea of how long networks take in testing thier phones also how many phones wer shiped into europe/asia small or big batch thanx!!

So, the Truthteller was right. We all made unnecessary comments on him without knowing anything. He was the first one to confirmed from confedential resourses within Nokia Finland that N80 and N91 were shipped on April 13th to Asia and Europe.
Thanks for your inputs Truthteller. I am very impressed with the fact that you didn't bother about ppl making comments about u and shared teh truth with us. Also I apologize on behalf of everyone who was rude to u.

WAHOOOOOOOOOO - people in the UK this phone has been released. i just phoned nokia now 12:16 "19th april". spoke to some woman and i said can you tell me the date when the n80 will be released.
she said it has been released so i said when she said yesturday then i said is that confirmed by nokia and she said yes.
SO i dont really no why it isnt in stores yet. maybe i can phone up a few other places :D

any websites were u can buy this phone from greece or cyprus and they ship to the UK?
also if i do this will i have 100% features and everything i.e will it be EXACTLY the same as if i bought it from the UK?

1) N80 and N91 are the real thing (i.e, no prototype). N80 Color Silver infront, black behind.
2) NOKIA N80 has been released pre-Easter in Cyprus and Greece as our Easter is this coming Sunday (Greek Orthodox. I guess Nokia for marketing reason is giving priority to Orthodox Christian (that we celebrate Eastern 1 week later). After all, we in Cyprus are only 800,000 people!!! How many will they buy the N80? Wimbleton area in London may be is 1,000,000!! How can you satisfy 60,000,000 UK people!!

Guys i dnt thnk it is worth spending a lot of money on the N80 as i have the N70. Theres nt much difference. i thnk itl be hrd 2 chnge the original cover aswell.

We are selling both Nokia N80 and N91 since Monday 17th of April. Prices etc you can check http://www.soundtech.com.cy (£=2US$). N80 comes with BL-5C battery (this is the cheapest Nokia battery!!) but great phone. N91 is a bit bigger but 4GB microdrive. First launch was in Cyprus and Greece to celebrate the Greek Orthodox easter which is this week.

wtf do you do with a phone like this without a decent text imput, even a touch screen would do, for example how do you input a long internet adress, or write a long note on the calendar, its a pain in the a**.

In the asia pacific nokia site, it's stated that the phone is available as new release.So, that means the phone should be available in the market now, right??? And according to their press release the phones have started shipping on april 13th. So when will it arrive here in Malaysia??? Can anyone please tell me... I have fallen in love with this phone. I wanted to change and planning to buy it in bulk, me and some other friends... hopefully we can get at reduced price... :P

ive been reading about this since a long time now.... and waiting for it to come out here in US is almost impposible now! I'll be in hong kong on the 10th May, philippines from May10th to May15th and then in hong kong on the 16th! HOPEFULLY I CAN GET IT FROM EITHER HONG KONG OR PHILIPPINES!! Aargh cANT WAIT!!!

Dear Vinnie,
It's one's personal preference and age. Both the colors are good. I personally like black as it stands for being dynamic. For people aged between 40-60, I'd recommend white as it indicates peace.
Enjoy your new N80. Don't forget to share some true facts about the phone once u start using it. Only Truth though. Remember, the sword of truthfulness can achieve the unbelievable. Character and integrity is everything in life!
