In reply to John, I wish I could help. I've sent Orange two emails in recent weeks, and haven't heard a thing back at all. Am I impressed? Not at all. Am I thinking of looking elsewhere? I am.

I received an email last night from Orange and they are saying that the N80 should be released sometime in May, it is still being tested at the moment.
This seems to contradict the 17/04/2006 date that has been quoted previously, does anyone actually know which date is correct?

Why in hell are you so upset with the camera? Nokia haven't done so much work with the camera as if you compare it with K800. K800's speciality is the camera, N80 speciality is the connectivity. If you compare these except of the camera, you'll probably see that N80 is far much better than the sucky K800. And by the way, all K-series from SE sucks since they're made in China. SE from Japan is quality, like Nokias from Finland.

Does k800 have symbian? wlan? such good screen res? nice design that DOESNT look like every other phone? No? Thats what I thougt. :D

surely not a phone to buy. useless 3 hours talk time. 3mp camera with no auto focus (again useless). And for sure this phone will be buggy.
people, go for se k800, it is much better.

Hello,
I have a prototype of Nokia N80 and it came with a lot of bugs. I'm waiting the release of the phone to see if i can make a firmware upgrade. Does anybody know if Nokia upgraded just the N80 firmware or the hardware suffered modifications too ?

i would be very wary in buying this phone as soon as it comes out.i think the long delay is due to many bugs and hiccups in software etc.better wait a year and go for n80i which would have all the hiccups sorted out,and also a slimmer lighter version.

if you guys notice ont he nokia website you can download the offical Nokia n80 (drivers-software) inc bluetooth. which must meen it ready soon.
