I have this phone for 3 years ago,I m not satisfied of it,I'v repaired once time because the screen it turn white,the slide was destroyed (broken),life battery when I buy it was 3 day now is 1 day,and the bad thing is that is very slow in menu. Now I have also an N82 this is much better,but I'd like an N85.

i have dis phone and i dont want it..
im not satisfied about its features..
and for me its heavy and to big enough to bring anywhere...
my N80 is made in finLand..

I Have a Nokia N80, the battery isn´t good but in EBAY we can find batteries with 2100Mha

adam, 19 Oct 2008im really like this n80 but the batt are very not good so w... moreMake sure you don't have it connected to the 3G network. Set it to the GSM network. Make sure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are switched off unless you are using them. Update the firmware to the the latest release. Download an application called "Taskman" and install it on your phone. It shows all applications running on your phone and allows you to switch off the ones that you are not using. Doing all of the above will extend your battery life considerably.

Great phone. Excellent reception and has never dropped a call in 12 months. 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Infrared and PnP connectivity. Amazing 3.2 megapixel camera. Very decent battery life. I get about 4 days between charges with moderate use. Hundreds of applications to download and run on the Symbian OS. I have Skype running on my N80. What more could you want? Bought mine for just $200 on eBay. Nokia deserve praise for this phone. It's a winner.

all of slide-up phones has its maintenance, it's the "ribon" ---> (i don't know if my spelling is correct) so you really have to repair it. take care when you're sliding up your phones.

The N80 has always been known to have the worst battery life in the Nseries line. Its a smartphone powered by a tiny 820mAh batt, what i suggest is looking for a 1000mAh 3rd party N80 battery.

hello im carlo and im using n80 unit i enjoy using it but i have some problem few months ago become white screen sometimes has display but when i slide down to close become all white but still i can receive call and message please help me what i will do.

Hi! Ive been using N80 for a year now and its a very good fon, i was hesitant at first to buy it but im glad i did coz im having fun with it, with all the browsing, xpres printing, music, etc. . . not bad at all. The battery doesnt last for a day coz i use it nonstop.

It is a good ideea if you swith to GSM, no UMTS/3G. And other good thing will be to close all applications that you are not using by pressing EXIT (even contact list after calling somebody). The applications continue to be open in background and using battery.
