Nexus, try running TomTom Mobile on your SE W900, or QuickOffice, or Adobe reader, or watch DivX movies for that sake!!
Say what you want, but the W900 is not comparable at all to the N70/80 as a multifunction device, even if it has autofocus.

3 hours talktime is good enough. I talk about 10-15 minutes on my phone a day, no need for 8 hours of talktime. I do however think it should have autofocus but 3mp is still better than 2mp even if it has autofocus. Atleast N80 has macro-mode, lets hope that it can take good pics from close range also.

viperkid how can you say "the price is reasonable (if it will be really around $600 - $700 range) . you are contradicting yourself. w900 will not cost $940. those are just vendors trying to make quick bucks out of people like you, before the phone is internationally released.n80=complete smartphone. w900=non-smartphone that beats smartphones. oh and if your phone is so great, at least w900 owners can use their phones for 5 more hours. in cellphone talk that is like a century
THINK ABOUT THAT
MUHAHAHAHAHA MUHAHAHAHAHA

You guys/gals better watch out about that e-mobileworld site selling this phone. The site was created 5 Days ago (23rd of this Month). I guess every Business has to Start Somewhere, but make Safe Payments Only. ^^
Later.

Still no autofocus from Nokia (besides the brick N90), and no lens-cover!!!????
Pisses me off, and forces me to look for other competing smartphone-brands to fulfill my needs!

Just recently won a Nokia N70, but I'll definitely sell it as quickly as possible in favour of this phone. Using a 6630 now, and this seems like the next logical step ;).

mobileworld should not be trusted, because all their secured verisign and secured sites all link to the main page.
they say they have it in stock but they dont.

How can Mobileworld have the N80 months before it's actually released, and be selling it at a discount. I'd question that deal.

emailed nokia asking for the official launch date of n80 and they said, there's still no exact date of its launching.
do you think it's possible that this will be released this dec or early jan since (i think) it's already on its final stages...
if it will be released only a few weeks after the w900i, i think those that are still undecided might wait for this one..

March 2006? That's about the same time that Sony P990 is slated for release. Fight for the century. I love the N80. If only it has a touchscreen. It would make surfing webpages so much more convenient. But all in all, it's a great phone ahead of it's peers' time. However, I had thought it would be launch towards January, since it was said to already have FCC's approval. But then, Nokia had announced N91 way ahead of N80, so they would have to release N91 first and let it sell for 1 to 2 months before releasing N80, so I guess March 2006 sounds reasonable.

chodaboy:
i agree with you, the price is reasonable (if it will be really around $600 - $700 range) unlike with Sony Ericsson W900i that cost $940, which gives you only 2mpx cam, no WLAN, no uPnP, dimensions are big & heavy, not symbian, not EDGE, and overall design of W900i totally sucks big time, it looks like a brick! the ratings of N80 speaks for itself! when N80 hits shelves, few people will buy W900i coz of its hefty price!
