3MP for a phone?!!! it's the same as my digicam already! It's phones like this one that makes me wish I have a camera phone. hope this will be available in the Philippines soon. The only latest we have (and with the highest MP for cams) are only 2MP in resolution.

    Invincible:
never did i say that videos with 30 fps is better than videos with more pixels. what u juz compared was 2 different video resolutions with different fps, that's completely a different story. what i meant was d more fps a video has with same resolutions, the smoother and better the video will be. how about comparing 2 videos each with 352 x 288 pixels but one has 15 fps & d other one has 30 fps. then u'll know wat am i trying to say to Benson. peace out :)

      hey
heres a solution for the battery problem:
      Nokia instrument comes with a
      reserve battery.
To activate, press the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with this
reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve
will get charged when u charge your cell next time.
however i tried usind it on Nokia series 60 handsets but it didnt worked but it works well on other or a bit older nokia handsets. Hope it works for N80 as well.

        to invincible:
When u compared the n80 and the n90 u only compared the camera functionz in them. Camera isn't everything. The n90 is HUGE!!!!! its an inconviniece t0 carry and it doesn"t look that good. Im not saying its a bad phone but it has its disadvantages. the n80 has a pretty good camera, good size, goood looks, and pretty good features over all.

viperkid actually you are wrong, 30 frames per second is not better than the more pixels the video has, eg. a video with 176 x 144 pixels with 30 frames per second will not be better than a video with 352 x 288 pixels with 15 frames per second, the more pixels the video has the more clearer and smoother it will be like the N90's video which has only 15 fps but records in mp4 format which is 352 x 288 pixels

it means Frames Per Second. usually 15 or 30 fps in video. the higher fps the better and smoother the video will look!

                      nokia says this:

Focus range: close up mode: 17.5 cm to 23.4 cm, Normal mode: 68 cm to infinity

does this means it does have focus?

Sorry for being ignorant but what is fps?
                      Thanks!

The real advantage of this fone with others its becoz it has WLAN. Maybe the 3mp sensor but not quite coz it lacks autofocus. I juz don't get it, it has an advanced camera modes, white balance and exposure adjustments but forget about autofocus? This is where you separate men from the boys when talking about camfone.

Video stabiliser is cute. CIF resolution is great. But my question is, what's the fps?

I raised these points becoz a good camfone should have large sensor, autofocus, high video resolution and fps. If N80 and W900 were boxers, N80 is the skillfull one while the W900 is the solid puncher. And the solid punchers are usually the ones who knockout opponents. Juz my 2 cents.

Oh no, you are right! I am so sorry. I was browsing through the pages of the phone I was talking about and I have really made a terrible mistake! That is so embarassing! I was talking about the Sony SO902i and I thought it had a 1.3 megapixel camera in front. Think I got it from on website but the others wrote that it only has vga i think. so sorry for stating something like that. I saw the imformation at the link below but on other links, I am not sure if the resolution for the front camera is still 1.3 megapixel camera. But so sorry if I had made a mistake.

But the Nokia N80 does have close up mode! You can see it at their website! The specifications are up on the website under their technical specifications in HTML format at this link below
