i ave just got a n80 can any 1 tell me if i can or will be able to get sat nav on it,sum 1 told me that,ya can on the n95 but not on the n80,ya need a degree to use 1 i think......

has any1 tried to compare the video of n80 to n70.. my mobile is n80 and i love the resolution of pictures compare to n70 which was never surprise for me c0z its megapixel is 3 while n70 has 2..
but when i took video from my n80.. even if i set its setting to the highest resolution (mp4) its just so blurred and really unclear.. but with my b0yfriends mobile (n70 with 2 megapixel) the resolution is so good and so clear and smooth..
i was just wondering if any1 here has compared them and experiencing the same pr0blem with my n80..
im n0t sure if n80's vide0 really suckz... or theres just mistake on my mobile..
is there any1 that has n80 mobile and please describe the resolution of your VIDEO..
my video outdoor when set to mp4 is good.. but as soon as i get into the house even if its day or well lighted the video just went crazy..

Its an amazing phone with all the deemed funcionalities of a high end smartphone, wifi, push email, voip, vpn, edge, blackberry support , the camera is also promosing at 3.2 megapixels, we assume the phone as the top ranker in all the nseries till date, and has got a good software backup as well as application catalog.

Ok, got back my phone, lucky is just only the LCD screen loosy a bit only, fix it edi.
Can function now, but just wonder is it all the Nokia slide phone built-in not so solid?

Got the phone yesterday, after 2hours playing wif it, taking photo n slide up, Tada; the phone go blank out.
Ok, tats fine, forgive it because is symbian phone, will lag a little bit. RESTART. Pop, the phone goes back right, im Happy.
After few minute, SAME thing, slide up TADA, BLANK OUT, ReSTART it again, No luck, totally blank out.
FAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wait until tis morning, go back to the shop fix it, have to wait 2 hours.

I have one and i had the same problem until i got a 3g sim card then everything was fine

this phone has short battery life, fat, heavy slow, and wi fi is useless if u do not the code and you need an expert technician for this fone if this break down so that i swap my n80 to n73 this is much better!

one advice to all nokia users,in order to keep your phone in a good shape and makin it last for a long time without any errors or problems,so do the following:
try not to keep your bluetooth active for most of the time,also try not plug in and unplug in your cable for so many times ,if you want to transfer data try the mem.card reader,coz using bluetooth all the time will weaken your battery dificiency.
try also to manage your data and get rid of the undisired files inside your phone memory,also try to use the sleep mode that will increase the battery function,last try to check the files before sending them or recewiving them on your phone and install a trustful anti.virus software ..

Ive still got my N80 lying around on my desk, realy great phone, ive got a N81 but i sometimes use my N80 mainly because of that beautiful hi-resolution screen. My only problem with the N80 was the short battery life, slow processing and lack of RAM (Only 20mb at start-up), and my N81 has taken away all those issues :-)

I would like to ask anyone here, izzit u are in a call, u cannot slide up the phone or u cannot hear what people talking?? And same like 3g call. When u slide up the phone, u cannot make 3 g call because the person talking to u will not be able to see u..Anyone please tell me ya.. Thankss..

nice phone. traded my Sony K800i for this one.
camera wise, it's a step lower than my previous phone. but overall, it's better. (wifi and symbian OS made the difference)

The design is great, so big and so heavy. Good performance, good-looking, High-resolution screen, so alright. One of the best.
