hi everybody,
i've got N80 (Original-made in Finland) since 2 months ago.
i checked every thing on that.i didn't find any problem. sending SMS is normal.less than one second.also i checked it's WiFi and it works fine.also i installed several programs on that without any issue.the camera also works fine (rather than other 2M cameras). remember it belong to 2005.maybe after this i try to buy N95. hope you find it useful. Jay,
from ur description, in this case i suspected ur phone was damaged ! i don't know where u get this phone: from dust-bin, road side, or second-hand shop !
these things can be happended in any brand, any model & any mobile phone if which was wored out!
wake up! go and buy a new & original n80. u won't get any problem.

I have had this phone for about a year now, and am very disappointed with it. Very slow to send messages,(takes over a minute just to send) the screen freezes up constantly, i have to always take the battery out to reset it, and the battery doesn't last more than a day. Very disappointed in spending all that money on a useless phone.

it's SLOW as hell
camera is poor quality
flash is crap. if you try to take a picture inside or at night, you will just get a black picture.
gallery and music player interface sucks..
my text messages are totally messed up now. for new text messages get put randomly in the list and i have old text messages at the top of my inbox. wtf?
slider slids too easily (not spring). i have my phone in my pocket and several times it's slid open in my pocket and somehow started playing an mp3. that was fu*cking annoying.
headphones plug socket is weird and flimsy. the headphone plug end is huge; mine has broken now and my headphones only work 50% of the time.
you can't have pictures and videos separately. you can't organise them. they are all together in one big mess and takes a year to find something. (and gallery loads after 5 mins when you have a lot of photos/video clips)

The only thing that i dot like with n80 is that all video and image files are stored directly to gallery folder. When i downloaded 6 seasons of smallville around 900MB(so i can watch something everytime i travel) it took me like 2 mins to open the gallery. my friend advised me to install Y Browser...i did... so far its OK now.

hye there,
just wanna share my opinion,
ive using this phone for 1 year and its quite ok but it terribly slow,my sliding mechanism become very loose,then phone become blank when i slide in or out.kinda dissaponted to invest in this phone....
thinkin to change to n95 later....

nice phone never fails to amaze my friends nice cam but a problem sometimes the battery on high usage will go down very fast but lil charging it will go to full again

well,i got N80 about 1 year,i really do and like that phone it had all what i want WI-FI,Btooth,Nice and loud speaker when listening to MP3,bueaty look,and vgood cam,but we dont forgot not every thing human do is perfect,sure there is mistakes...i like it,but advice for all ppl who got N80 [ Keep your software always updated to get what u want from that phone ] last version is 24/05/07 - RM 92, to update ur software goto

bzourat...u can use ROTATEME application for landscape mode just like N95!....but u have to certify the application...u can find more by searching on google....type ROTATE ME SIGNING....hope this helps!

hi i have a nokia n80 with a 512mb micro sd memory card, and currently i have 300 odd megabites free, however, when someone wants to send me a file through bluetooth,after about 10% of sending my phone tells me that i do not have enough memory in my phone,and the sending fails, but on my card i have 300+ free memory, can anyone help me out?

My screen is moving fast every time i slid my phone down or up. can any one tell me the solution to the problem.and its actually hard for me to slide it up and down, it does not function softly, can any one please email me the solution.

the person who telling this is because he do not have this model to serve u, or do not have stock.
he intended to push out other models which have kept many of stock. be careful.
i am selling model phones, so i uderstand what these crazy people want to do!

-it is not available.
-nokia stoped it manufacturing.
-its a flop model.

I've had this phone for about 2 weeks, it is great, great camera, great sound and it's got wi-fi so it is a really complete phone.
Answering the question from the other guy who said his firend's N80 screen went blank after closing it, it's not a flaw, it's a battery saving measure featured by the phone, so don't worry about it
