Nokia N81 is one of the best phones that Nokia has ever launched... its interface is Awesome and Mindblowing looks....
I am using the phone from the last 15 months and still thinking to continue for the next 2 years

Have had this phone for close to 18 months. Great experience, love the interface. Media keys however do not function as well as I would have expected. They seem to get worse with time.

Instead of turning off your cell phone, you just need to change into offline mode ^_^.To change mode:"Menu/Tool/Profiles" you will see 6 diffence modes. Choose the mode you like.lol

@Ajay,
Try to delete the access point of that wifi u want to use from the access points in settings and then restart ur phone and clear all ur history if u can in ur browser and try it,it works sometimes and for the life time of the phone guess what TWO YEARS! cause i have the same phone and JUST completed two years this month and ...... became spoiled in keys,camera,bluetooth even software after updating still slow!!

i've used N73 for quite a long time,
man handled n73 a lot,
repaired t set & till t time i lost the set it was working to my satisfaction,
but i'm having a better experence using n81
the key's are always malfuncting,
it works on its own wish,
every now & then i've to restart the handset,
pl advice what should i do,
should i throw away the set

i v used n81 for long its got d best music output in headfones not speakers......bt now ive lost it....can any one tell me which nokia hand set has the best music output in headfones n speakers too exept dis one

nokia n81 is a very good handset i can use this phone very easily its features are tobe very friendly i like this model very much

n81 is a bad cell.
the feature is poor.
i have so much problems with the keys because are broken or not funcionally.
i have had n70 and 6234 and i think nokia made the worst cells actuaally

N81 is an excellent phone interms of usability and entertainment. I love my phone, except for two reasons, battery quality and signal problem.
this is my second battery in two years. My battery is getting bulging day by day. I replaced the 1st battery for the same reason. i use my phone excessively for internet, may be that cud be a reason.
Next, nowadays im not able to use WIFI in my phone. Its showing all available networks. But when i try to use any network, even after defining access point, it show " connection not available". Guys having knowledge in this area, pls help me out.
My panel has got damaged to the maximum extent and its too costly to replace. I dono why nokia made such a good phone with bad panel fits.
1 more problem. when im switching on my camera, its not opening , instead its opening messages and then contacts. after second pressing only it opens camera.
Within 2 years, im getting this much problem with my phone. Nokia pls tell me the life of this product.

camera feature is poor.my nokia n81 phone camera is not working.when i on my camera it shows "Camera feature not supported" i have given it servicing centre , but the customr\er care personal said that it was a camera problem n component not available in market.so i think n customer care n servicing is poor.

ajay, 13 Jul 2010how factory setting is achieved and lock code number*#7370# to reset back to just as you bought the fone..Please BACK UP all your data cause it will wipe fone clean even text messages.
Lock code 12345 .
