hi...
i really want this phone....but how about its video player??is it good and smooth because it's symbian...i love to watch video with my 6288,and it's good enough...so how about this phone?any lag or unwanted element?
and also i love music phone,but 6288 bit dissapointing me because when the track is changing,there is "crack" sound and really annoying and make feel dizzy.how about this phone?

I bought the phone...
Overall the N81 is great in all features..
But wad disappoint me is the camera...
The photo quality produce frm the 2mp Nokia 6280 are even more better than the 2mp in N81..

don't buy this phone,this phone don't even worth above 350 dollar.now this phone cost above 530 !!! instead of paying that much money buy Mitac A702 . it's worth it

It should include 5 mega paxel camera. Otherwise it is Ok. But without 5 megapixel camera it is not catchy.

Compare this handset with Nokia 5610. The 5610 seems to be too good in any aspect complimented by a 3.2MP cam.

hey ppl.....jus gt dis fone y'day....all in all m happy wid d features nly 2 drawacks.. d cam isnt up2 d mark n jus a bit bulky hav 2 squeez dem inside d pockets.gr8 looks hav 2 tel u dat,d fone luks stunnin
d click wheel works gud same as d i-pod
standby time is not al dt bad, kepad a bit flat so all u ppl who text a lot may hav a hard time usin it,d symbion is gr8 amazin clarity all in all m happy wid fone wuz usin n e65 n 6288 ,i wud say a cmplete package of both f dem
u wnt regret buyin it(nly if u get used to squeez dm in ur eans regularly... lol :-)

I bought N81-1 3 days ago and sold it today.
I'm happy to get rid of it.
You don't imagine how camera is bad?
it is not even 2 mega pixel quality.

this is gr8 phone...and buy the way there is no joy stick in it...its 5 way navigation key with the new navi wheel feature....go for it i have already bought it its gr8...pleanty of volume with good quality..gr8 gaming,surffing,cool attitude phone for sure.....

no..i don't agree that a joystick will make this (mean machine) perfect..
joystick sucks..this can be proven through the n73 i'm using..n73 was the PERFECT phone by that time..until they stuck a stick in that keeps on breaking..already brought it for warranty like 2 or 3 times..

having looked and played with the n81 i dont think it was the best design a lot like the e65 all crammed into one small little area the performance of it is good very quick and snappy but it will depend on how it goes with the memory filled a bit more. the features of it is really good the gaming on the screen is really crisp and clear as well as good games on it to still the same similar nokia menu so good for those nokia known people but overall i would only give it a 6.5/10

No, the buttons aren't touch sensitive. Look as it, isn't it.
You have to press on them. They are pretty soft, or most would call it "rubbery". It felt kinda good when I tried it on the live demo set, but not sure if the QA of Nokia has all sets in check though. Besides, not sure if one would get tedious with the feel of the keypad. Haven't had long enough time to try.
