This phone seems awesome! Optus have just bought it out on a 49 a month and 300 dollars worth of calls etc. In AUSTRALIA im pretty sure i will get it, i just hope i dont get dissapointed, if ne one has this phone please let me know of ne obvious flaws.. if its something really techinical it wont bother me cus i'm not up with all that! thanks!

Was just wondering if anyone could tell me as to whether the N81, is touch screen, as i cannot tell from the pictures and there is no description of the keypad (top part) being touch screen. I am very interested in this phone, but would be disappointed if this was touch screen.

Hey bryan ....
To answer your queston , i would tell you, on my opinion, the graphit colour is the best between the 2.
The blue makes more look like something you play with, a game whereas the graphit colour is a bit more adult or classy !
But it doesn't the blue isn't beautiful
It only depends on what you prefer!
As far as i'm concerned, can i ask for help please?
I would like to be sure about this thing :
I want this phone becaus eit has everything i want except the "number buttons, i mean the 1 button, the 2 button ... The Keypad"!
I would like to be sure if it is sensitive or not?
Please people, help me!

maybe nokia will reconsider it.. & released n81 -i .. armed with 3.15mp or 5mp :p carl zeiss optics .. he he he ..

i think the reason that nokia has kept the camera at 2mp is so that it doesn't get very expensive

it's a pity ... the camera is 2mp.. why did nokia give it a 2mp camera instead of 3.15mp?? no autofocus.., the photo result also pretty bad..
i'm very disapointed ..
but i like the navy wheel features :)

The nokia n81 will be available soon in south africa. its already available on mtn. it costs R167.80 a month on a mtn contract, u just pay the connection fee R236 and u pay an R23 for the fone. it is currenly available at autopage but u gota wait.

i'va already got 1 N81. this phone is great! the speaker quality is excellent, the keypad is comfortable, the camera quality is average (not bad). hehe.. in my country (Indonesia), this phone is not to expensive. :)
so, in my conclusion, this phone is very great and cool! ;)

is there a way to share the hsdpa or edge
connection on these nokia phones?
it is quite important in order to use it with
the ipod Touch.

its shown that n81 2gb is available at nokia site but its unavailable on any of the nokia priority.

brought n81 8gb today n cost me arnd 24k n i must say iz value for money...gr8 fone havng good sound n features..i'll give 8 outa 10 to dis gadget...keys a sumwht nt up2 d mark bt neverthless d phone iz gud...
