I havnt try wit the nsu but i thing the result is the same. Anyway, be4 u upgrade to v21 what firmware do u hav? Thanks in advance

Beeper, 08 Feb 2009So, is it possible to upgrade from v11 to v20 ? Is v20 avai... moreYou can try and find out,just install NSU (Nokia Software Updater) to your PC and plug your N81 in then follow the instructions. NSU can be found in the PC Suite CD, V20 should be available for Indonesia.

Do what i said above, like i said V21 has been removed for some odd reason though.

Latest firmware is V21.0.008 ,i think NOKIA removed it though, although after hacking it im finding it to be the best firmware ive had on my N81, it never reboots or freezes, battery life is fantastic, it allows my N81 to play flv videos in file manager, and also the best part is it also has FP2 Menu Transition effects, just like the APAC V20.0.056 firmware.

My n81 has firmware v 11.0.045. Is it the latest? Can i upgrade to v 20? And why the theme effect doesnt work? Please help.

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2009I have had this phone for 6 months and I've had quite a few... moreum i think memory space don't matter on what phone, in fact n81 can contain the 16 gigabyte microsd card... it depends on memory expanion.

my friend kaustav got it 4 bloody 16000/- bt i don't think it's of practical utility. what is the point in having wi-fi inside a phone. + the camera lacks autofocus and it's too delicate.

I have had this phone for 6 months and I've had quite a few issues. I was always a big Nokia fan but after having an N70, E65 and now the N81 I'm changing to a Samsung or HTC. The phone frequently tells me there is not enough memory,even when it was brand new and had no new software etc. It refuses to delete a game I downloaded and now the camera more often than not doesn't want to work. I have never dropped this phone so there is no reason it should play up. Also the screen shows your finger prints terribly. I won't buy a Nokia again as I know dozens of people who have had problematic Nokias.

The N81 has always been a niche device, whereas N82 is a Camera phone and mass market phone so the prices may tend to clash,but i doubt a N81 could ever be more expensive than a N82, thats just strange.

kiff phone however drop it a few times and your camera feature will tell you its not supported
